If I could give zero stars I would, The insurance adjuster at this location is the rudest person I have ever met. Not only was I rushed out of the office after being told I would need $4000 of treatment with no further explanation about ANYTHING until I chased the doctor and the adjuster down to ask what was priority, and see what I could afford to get done. When I came back I was told I would need to pay $700 out of pocket for a possible root canal. Only after inquiring further did they apply my insurance, bringing it down to $140, not taking responsibility for the mistake.
AFTER that I noticed the price of a possible crown was never disclosed to me, they told me the doctor decided I asked too many questions and decided to start on another another patient, and not even tell me directly. The adjuster took decided to storm off to give me a refund, cancelling me appointment against my will.
I was so upset I left in tears, but, I think it may have been a blessing in disguise, as I will feel much more comfortable in the hands of people who can communicate clearly and don’t make you feel like another f*cking number. I can’t believe this Modesto location is rated so highly, my experience there feels unreal. Their saving grace is their very kind dental hygienist and assistant.

Been coming here for a while now, from a dental implant, to getting braces and of course to my regular cleaning and must say Doctor Jeffrey Phen and all staff have always been very friendly and knowledgeable. Always a smooth visit and very clean environment. They are for sure one of the best dentistry around, highly recommended! Thank you Dentist R Us!

A good family dentist with flexible scheduling and prompt text notifications for appointment reminders. Me and my kids have been going to Dentist R us for a few years now. Have not had a bad experience. I have also recommended my mother and brother to go as well as some Co workers. 👍👍👍😁

I had my first root canal done and was anxious about it. Dr. Phen performed the procedure in less than an hour. I also had a filling done. Great job, Dr. and thank you again!

They’re kind, they’re fast, but the doctor only managed to work on one side of my mouth for nearly 3 years and kept pushing expensive dental products on me. The doctor has seen the untreated damage on the left side of my mouth that I pointed out, but still seem to ignore me and work on the right. I really liked the team, just the treatment of my teeth and the overselling still hasn’t settled with me. I’m going to another dentist to treat the other side.
