Dr. Yu is great!!! The whole staff is fantastic and very caring. They did not treat me like a patient but more like a family member !!!! I have had some bad experiences in the past with dentists and here was totally different. They just got me through a big step with a complete extraction and dentures. They made the procedure almost painless and took great care of me in the office, then Dr Yu called to check on me at the end of the day!!

I've been coming to Sylvania Dental since they opened their office in Modesto. They're always friendly and professional. Some dentist's I've gone to in the past always seemed to be trying to upsell me on something. Not here. I feel they've always been straight forward, honest, and professional. They're so good that I literally fall asleep during cleanings! And they never make fun of my snoring! LoL

The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. We’ve been taking our children here since they were toddlers and now their teenagers. Not once were they terrified or cried. They always looked forward to the treasure box and still kind of peak in there from time to time :-)
For myself, I recently had to get new dentures and the dr was so patient and VERY CARING about my looks and my comfort. It took a while through the process because we wanted to make sure they were perfect.
I couldn’t be happier with the results.
I truly believe that you need to find a good dentist and stay with them all the way through life (if possible). It builds trust and a family atmosphere.

What an amazing experience! This has been the most pleasant dental experience I’ve ever had!! They was able to get me in within the hour and had my bad tooth pulled whithin minutes!
The staff was amazing and very friendly!! And with all my medical issues they accommodated me and was able to get the most benifits out of my insurance!!!

This is the greatest place. I have had a significant amount of dental work done paid a lot of money and seen multiple dentist. I seen and had so much dental work i never wanted to go back it seemed i was paying and wasting time as i still was hurting. Well i called in to here and my whole outlook changed. The first impression making appt was great they got me right in and then i arrived and it just got better. The girls in Office were very nice they made me comfortable. They were very family oriented very compassionate and knew their jobs very well. They explained all the treatment plan. Then i meet doctor. He was very gentle also very compassionate he explained all work and gave me a treatment plan that fits our buget. I definitely recommend this wonderful place. Finally i do not like and fear dentist but i cannot wait to continue treatment with this dental group. The hygienist said"we Will fix you up"i went in with a lot of pain and left feeling great and still no pain today. She was right. Excellent Service
