Oroville Gentle Dentistry

Moved back to Oroville from TN and did not have a dentist.
I absolutely love this place! Dr Sumner was excellent, roxanna cleaned my teeth and did an amazing job! Amber did my exray and was very pleasant to talk to, and made it quick and painless!
I'm not usually one to leave comments but this is by far the best dentist I have been to, and they deserve some recognition.

I have ALWAYS had a great experiences at Oroville Gentle Denistry. This visit was just as amazing. My dental assistant is the best I have ever seen. I felt safe and comfortable. She also explained everything that was going to happen so I was well informed and relaxed. Dr came in was Profesional and caring. Didnt feel anything the shot or the extraction. I used to be afraid of the dentist now I almost look forward to it I have had horribly crooked teeth my whole life and now I don't cover my mouth anymore because I have beautiful teeth I can be proud of. Thank you Dr Parrot, Sarah, Dr Sumner and Dr Trapani. For making my Dental experience amazing. YOU ALL ROCK!

I had to have 2 cracked crowns replaced. Dr. Parrot and assistant Brittany were wonderful. They explained everything during the procedure and told me about the process if building crowns so I could share the process with my elementary class. Best crown experience!!!

Walking into the office for the first time was nothing short of impressive. The warm and comfortable furnishings, mosaic tile reception desk and even bottled water in a small refrigerator. I sat down admiring the classy upscale office thinking these people know what they're doing. When they called my name I saw the professional way they go about their job. Assessing the work needed to repair and clean my teeth just relaxed me, knowing that I was in good hands. I now look forward to every visit. Thank you Oroville Gentle Dentistry.

Omg! Dr. Sumner is the best! I had such a fear of needles, but I survived a tooth being extracted with no pain! And the gal that helped didn’t make me feel like a weenie about being nervous! Lol! Loved everyone there…very relaxed and informative. I finally found my dentist!!

Initially I thought 5 stars. But 1 month after my dental work I needed to return because a filling became sharp to the touch. The Dentist has a great personality but that doesn't matter when you cant do your job. A nurse was training others and she was loud/ rude. She made me feel uncomfortable by saying she couldn't find the sharp filling. Then she grabbed the chart and in a condescending manner began to read the notes aloud. Also she was talking about the wrong tooth on the opposite side. Once she left I hoped things were going to get better but then I got full staff treatment. 5 dental workers surrounding me talking about my teeth, and the training nurses attitude. I won't go back to them. I will pay to have someone else fix what they've done.

Everyone is so nice. They made me feel welcome. They told me my options and didn't make me feel guilty for my decision. Relaxing atmosphere. Very happy I went to them.

I've had work done at a few different dental centers. After my experience with Dr. Sumner and staff I'm now a believer in pain free dentistry. I'm 60 years of age. I still have thoughts of cracking and popping during injections. Now that is no more. Dr. Sumner has a great chair side manor. He's focused on no pain procedure. He is a success. I laughed more than I should've. Tools in my mouth yet I couldn't help from enjoying the doctor's way of keeping my attention somewhere else. Thank you to all of the people that make up the winning team at Gentle dentistry in Oroville. Pain free dentistry, what a concept. Now it's here!

The only people I trust to dig around in my skull. Hands down best for procedures and customer service. I am having major mouth renovation with several extractions and implants. The first time Dr Parrot worked on my he extracted two wisdom teeth, a failed root canal by another dentist and placed an implant screw in my lower jaw. He put me at ease cracking jokes and explaining the whole way what he was doing. I was very nervous about the recovery but everything was done so skillfully and with such minimal damage that I was eating solid food by the next evening. My last visit I had another molar removed and 5 implants placed. Again I was blown away by the gentle efficiency of the procedure and speed of recovery. I have had more difficult recovery from fillings! It is also wonderful that he personally calls his patients the evening after a procedure to check in on them. It is very obvious in every step how much Dr Parrot and his staff care about their patients.

Oroville Gentle Dentistry is by far one of the best Dentist offices in the North State. They are always on top of appointments and billing. My hygienist is by far one of my favorites. Recently, I finished having my teeth straitened. I noticed that both my upper and lower front teeth needed some filing. I've been scared in the past to have this done, since it is a permanent solution to fixing the ridges and tiny chips . Dr. Sumner, DDS, was very helpful. He explained the procedure, consulted with me before and after...now, magically I have even teeth with no pain and certainly no regrets. The process took all of 5 minutes!!
