I had a great visit with Dr. Yang today. I’ve had many visits in the past with Dr. Yang and I was always pleased with my experiences. She was able to fit me into her schedule within a few days! Dr. Yang is very kind and professional. She talked me through what she was doing and made sure I was okay and comfortable at all times. I’m not fond of pain, but Dr. Yang was very gentle and did a great job, I didn’t feel pain and was comfortable throughout my visit! The staff was also very kind and friendly during my visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Yang and Sunshine Dental Care if you are looking for a dentist in the greater Sacramento/ Roseville area!

UPDATE: I was pretty disappointed about Ka leaving! Sabrina took over as my hygenist and I'm overjoyed that she is fantastic as well!!! Such a kind and caring attitude blended with her professionalism. AWESOME!!!
Love this place!!! Reception and work areas are very clean and sanitary. Wonderful and happy people working there. All are very professional, knowledgeable and kind. My visits have been some of the most pain free dental visits ever!!!
Irene, Cathy or Luke typically greet you and get you checked in and out, handle phone calls, appointments and insurance as well as verifying the safety of patients and staff with a short health survey and temperature check during this covid issue.
Jenna is the assistant I have had for my visits with Dr. Yang. She is very thorough and considerate as she prepares you for your appointment.
Ka is the very thoughtful and attentive hygienist that I have had the extreme pleasure of having do my cleanings.
Dr. Yang is an awesome dentist!! Very skillful and compassionate. I have experienced her expertise for several types of treatments.
Absolutely THE best place to go for your dental needs!!!

First time back to the Dentist since the pandemic and Dr. Yang and her staff made me feel very comfortable and safe. Sabrina, the dental hygienist, was excellent. Very efficient and thorough. Very happy with the transition to new ownership within the office.

My visit with the Dr.Yang @ Sunshine Dental Care went Extremely well. Everyone of the staff were very kind and friendly when I arrived. I was really amazed and happy with the flow of my appointment, from checking in with Irene at the front who greeted me with a smile, then came out to take my temperature and said “Jenna, will be out in a couple minutes to bring you back.” Within minutes Jenna, Dr Yang’s dental assistant brought me to the dental chair and proceeded with my dental procedures, Xrays, reviewing couple health questions, etc.. When all was done and ready Dr Yang came in reviewed my Xrays and treatments needed. All was clear explanation, moving on to meeting Ka, the hygienist who was also very friendly did an excellent job cleaning my teeth (really felt difference from previous cleanings). I was even able to have my dental treatment done with Dr Yang after my cleaning, which worked out great. Overall I was pleased with my Dental visit, very welcoming, loving, friendly environment energy. Loved how everyone had the sweetest personality, worked extremely well as a team. Looking forward to seeing everyone next visit.

Dr. Maichou Yang is an amazing dentist as well as a very caring person in general! She got me in on her day off and made a very uncomfortable situation very comfortable! She went above and beyond! I highly recommend her and will absolutely refer any and everyone I know who is in need of a dentist! Cannot say enough good things about her! She genuinely cares! I have found my family’s forever dentist!

Great staff and Dr Yang is very personable. They took precautions before beginning the checkup to screen for the Covid virus (questionnaire, temp check and mask requirement). I think the hygienist’s name is Jo Lin (not sure) but she was very thorough and gentle and explained each procedure. I have not had any work done yet by Dr Yang but I feel very confident she will do a great job when the time comes.

What an amazing staff at sunshine dental care.
The staff was very informative and kind from the front office, the dental assistant all the way up to the dentist.
I was having pain and they got me right in. It was very clean and I was very appreciative they were checking temperatures before entry of appointments. This will definitely be my new dental home

I recently moved to Roseville. I had a partial with a small piece broken off. I didn’t want to take it all the way back to Pleasant Hill, where my regular dentist is.
I was able to get a very quick appointment with Dr Yang. The office visit was only $100, since I had recent xrays available at my regular dentist office. To get my partial fixed is another $263, but it’s being fixed by the dental lab next door to Sunshine Dental office. So more hands in the pot, higher cost.
I was treated well by Sunshine’s friendly staff, especially Jenna and Irene. They all made me feel comfortable enough that I will probably choose them as my family’s new dental care crew.
Dr Yang is also very nice. Her certifications hanging on the wall are Impressive. She has a top shelf education. My family and I will be back.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Yang at this office today. She was kind and gentle. Very knowledgeable about my history just by doing a quick exam of my teeth. We worked up a plan and I go back next week. The office was clean and tidy, very sanitary. Irene, at the front desk was very kind and helpful in getting my records. Jenna brought me back and got my initial history. She was kind snd professional.

Dr. Yang is very friendly and professional. Kay, the hygienist, was great and gentle during my cleaning. Although I was sad to hear Dr. Kelly was retiring (patient for over 15 years!), I trust his judgement and am impressed with Dr. Yang.
