Saw Dr. James Pierle who was great, very professional and knowledgeable. Support staff wonderful. Venue new, modern and very clean. Contemporary EHR with EPIC. Excited that I found such a great new dentist in SD.

Pros: friendly staff and attentive dentists
Cons: they billed my insurance for xrays, despite being told they were free, which resulted in a $50 copay. Had to call to have it disputed with them, which they happily changed back to $0 when i showed them the deductible was due to the xray charge

I went in for my first appointment. Everyone at North Park Modern Dentistry was a pleasure to work with. I don’t mean most. I mean every single person! What a great team they are. Friendly, personable, conscientious about my out of pocket expenses, my time, and my dental care. Modern tools of the trade, too. Too bad I won’t be seeing them for 6 months. :-) Even the patients there are upbeat! I’m so glad I found them!!!

I decided to follow Dr. Holly from her old office, and am so glad I did! I already knew that she was an amazing dentist (I did follow her after all) and was so excited to see her new place. The interior was immaculate, her staff was friendly and professional, and the service was everything I have come to expect from her. Definitely an excellent experience at the dentist!

Only great things to say about the whole staff at this office! Starting with the dental assistants Pia & Paul they did a great job with x-rays and assisting the dentist. The dentist, Dr. Pierle did a phenomenal job and saved me from a root canal! He’s honest and was gentle as I felt zero pain at all and had two big cavities on my molars. The front office staff Alex, Tiana, & Karina also were very friendly and helpful! Big thank you to everyone here!! If you’re looking for a better dentist office you won’t find it! The best are here @ North Park Modern Dentistry!!

You can stop looking for a dentist right now and just make an appointment here! Trust me. I’ve avoided the dentist my entire life until I could no longer put it off. I ignored tooth pain for as long as I could until one day it was knocked out and I suddenly couldn’t talk or smile without feeling self conscious.
Dr. Hinderberger and her team are phenomenal. I walked in thinking I would need an extraction and an implant, and I left that day with a crown and a new smile!
Dr. Alzwaideh performed my root canal. I was terrified but he was understanding, calming, and best of all he worked quickly and painlessly! He is friendly, fun, and extremely skilled. It’s clear he is dedicated to perfecting the craft!
Dr. Hinderberger was amazing to say the least. She created, fitted, and placed my crown. You can tell she is passionate about her work. She was smiling the entire time. She is reassuring, energetic, and she cares tremendously about her work product. Her attention to detail is incredible.
I left the office with a new smile and a crown that matched my teeth perfectly. I took some ibuprofen that evening and that was it. The next day I had no pain or discomfort. If I had known that going to the dentist could be this painless and easy I would have gone a long time ago!
I will be coming back here for all of my dental needs! Oh, I’m driving from LA to San Diego...that’s how much I live this office!!

I get that very few people find a Dentist office fun. BUT GO VISIT Dr. Holly! This is the most professional, "fun" dentist office period. Dr. Holly and her staff got me in for an emergency appointment and really took the time to make sure I got the care I needed. You can see, hear and feel the positive energy and passion her and all of the staff have for their jobs and their patients. I really wish I could could give them 10 stars. If you are picking a new Dentist or moving from an existing one, go see Dr. Holly. All of the equipment is modern and the place is so clean!

Didn't call my prescription and until the day of the appointment, and then gave me lip for being late after I had to wait in line 30 minutes to pick up the prescription. I'm not going to trust someone who can't be bothered to make a phone call digging around in my mouth

Would not recommend. They have terrible communication on what procedure is getting done, and they charge BEFORE the procedure is done, even if after all you end up not getting said procedure. Plus, parking is hard to find and have to pay. Recommend to find a more professional dentist practice.

Best dental experience I have ever had. Dr James Pierle and his team went above and beyond to fit me in their schedule before my grandson's birthday party. I appreciate everyone there. Super friendly and super clean.
