Edward Montoya, DMD & Jennifer Kang, DMD

Dr. Kang has been my dentist for a few years now and she and the staff have never fallen short. They are always super kind, informative, and helpful, and they are definitely quick and efficient. I have never been waiting for my appointment or to be seen by someone for more than 3 minutes. I love the atmosphere there and I am not a person who enjoys the dentist very much. I recently moved to SLO and I make the half hour drive for their exceptional service. 10/10 recommend to everyone and everyone. also I had a different hygienist named Time this time and he made sure to go over the top explaining a lot about how my teeth and what I need for my problems!

They do good work but I went in to get a crown put on a root canal I had, I waited three months for this appointment and not once did they tell me that I had a $500 co-pay until after the work was done.

Dr. Montoya spent time with me to explain and show me what was
going on in my mouth. It was the most comprehensive dental consult
I have been given. I felt the dental care he would like to see me get, was made out of concern for my dental needs, not his dental office budget
needs. I was also given at the end of my visit a itemized report of what I needed done and each individual costs. It was a pleasure seeing this
dentist as he was caring about my mouth and needs.

I could fall asleep while Tim cleans my teeth, he is amazing! The office has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. And the staff are helpful and nice! This is the best dentist office I have ever been to, I found my forever dentist.

Received a thorough “deep” cleaning today. Perfect just what I needed. No pain today or after the cleaning. Sweet!!

Just moved to the area was looking for a dentist and came across Montoya dentistry decided to try it. I came in for a tooth that was bothering me they saw me right away was so glad didn’t have to wait a month to get it checked. Today I went for a cleaning and I loved it loved the staff are so nice and welcoming and their hygienist she was so gentle and did a good job. Loved my experience.

Dr.Jenn is awesome. She is gentle and explained everything well. The RDA Rachael is very nice and funny. The office had the latest greatest technology. I would recommend 👌

I have had 3 other dentists during my lifetime. I never new what I was missing until I came to Dr. Montoya’s office. The level of service is bar none the best. It’s really like nothing I have ever seen before in any doctors office. They thoroughly examine every part of you from the neck up. They take the time to educate you on your mouth, your oral care needs, and give you the why behind every recommendation. They prioritize your care and build a health care program specific for you not the generic plan you are used to receiving from your past dentist. They take the time to answer all your questions and in the end return to make sure that you aren’t leaving with any new questions unanswered. All the staff are very professional and kind. I am very very critical of the care I receive in the medical field. When I shared my experience at Dr. Montoya’s office with my family they were completely blown away with how positive my review was, given the level of my expectations of medical care.

Second crown replaced by Dr. Montoya and went on without a hitch. The staff is very professional and truly care about customer satisfaction.
