My cleaning was very thorough as always. Never a complaint in this category.
I really want to acknowledge and thank Doctors Montoya for making many ecological changes in practice over the last few months since I was last in. The bamboo toothbrushes are a real class act. Love the new floss and the chapstick that are also made with thoughtful ingredients.

Staff were very helpful in making appointments. Staff were knowledgeable and very catering to patients needs. Never been a big fan of dental appointments, but their staff made it enjoyable. Michelle up front was great in getting me in and out and rescheduled for follow up appointments. I would recommend anyone with dental needs.

Best dental office on the central coast. I’ve been using Montoya Family Dental since they took over the practice, and have always been pleased with their customer service, & quality of work. Both DR Montoya & Dr Kang are masters at what they do, & geared towards customer satisfaction. Veteran hygienists Tim & Michelle pay extreme attention to detail and make each visit as comfortable as possible for the patient. Receptionist Claudia is an absolute specialist dealing with insurance and claims, and so polite and helpful over the phone. If you’re looking for a full service dental office that you can trust for a consistent, trustworthy, professional, impeccably clean and pleasurable experience every time, Montoya Family Dental is hands down the best choice.

Every experience in this office has been wonderful. Front desk very friendly. Appointments are punctual. Hygienists are wonderful. I have been here for 5 years. Each hygienist has done thorough cleaning, explained procedures as they proceed during visit and give great hygiene tips. Dr. Montoya and Kang do beautiful work too and are very friendly and informative.

Montoya Family Dental is great! Excellent service provided by everyone on staff there - from the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dental assistant, and from the dentists. They definitely show a lot of care towards their treatment and patients.

Most recently I had a cleaning and replaced a filling. The cleaning was smooth and gentle. The filling replacement was done with new laser technology that made it fast and painless. And it doesn’t require having to get shots of novacaine leaving me numb and swollen for hours after.

I highly recommend this practice to anyone and everyone!

There are barely enough words to describe what a phenomenal dental practice this truly is, but I'm going to try...

It always starts with a phone call and the ladies that answer the phones are super kind, very helpful and professional. Checking in was a breeze as was checking out - they made me feel very welcome and at ease.

Lorie, the registered dental assistant who greeted and roomed me, is quite simply a delightful walking ray of sunshine - happy, funny, smart, sweet, reassuring - I absolutely adore her. She very quickly and expertly took xrays of my teeth making sure I was comfortable the whole time. Lorie and Dr. Kang worked in harmonious unison and never skipped a beat. You know how oftentimes you walk into a dental or medical office and you feel like you're just a number? Not so here, not even close. It is truly heartwarming how they effortlessly make you feel like a real human being - like you're the only patient there.

Next up was meeting Dr. Kang. Wow! So THIS is what an awesome dentist is like! I've been to several dentists for routine care in my lifetime but Dr. Kang surpasses them all - by atmospheres. She is so intelligent, kind, warm and caring, detailed, complimentary and also very reassuring. She very quickly earned my trust and made me feel like completely at ease. I didn't realize there is a such a thing as a 'dream-dentist' until I met her. She is truly extraordinary.

Lastly, was Tim, the hygienist. Having Tim clean my teeth was like sending my teeth on a spa vacation where they got pampered, spiffied up and made to feel like a million bucks. Tim is quite simply amazing - he wields his dental tools with precision and you're left grinning ear to ear because your teeth just feel so...stellar.

This dental practice should be the practice all other dental offices aspire to be. The office vibe is a cohesive one - you immediately get the sense that they are a tight team, that they all get along and that they truly enjoy working with one another. I am so very thankful to be a new patient there. As I was leaving, I thanked the ladies at the front desk and humbly said "It's a privilige to be a patient here." And I meant it. Thank you, Montoya Family Dental. 5 stars just isn't enough.

I’m very happy to have found Montoya Family Dental. I’ve found the staff to be very friendly and courteous. And Dr Montoya and Dr Jen have some of the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced in the health care world. They each took the 5 minutes or so it takes to get to know me on a personal level, which really helped to make me feel cared for and in good hands. All my care was explained in detail, which also helps to reduce any stress. My wife and I plan on switching the whole family over to Montoya, and like I said earlier, we couldn’t be happier to have found such good dentists, hygienists, and assistants.

I just had a first time visit/exam. The office staff was extremely nice and helpful! Office was beautiful and very clean. Dr. Jennifer Kang is an EXCEPTIONAL dentist!!! Best comprehensible dental exam that I have ever had. She took her time and explained everything to me. I am so happy to have found this dental practice. Thank you!!!

Dr.Montoya and his super friendly,professional staff were amazing!
They have state of the art equipment that makes the process go very smooth,painless,and dare i say..close to as relaxing as possible!!
