I can highly recommend Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry. I have a lot of anxiety around dental visits, and the team at this office is compassionate and kind. They answered all my questions and explained the procedures in detail, checking in with me frequently during the visit to see how I was feeling. Also loved the ability to watch/listen to streaming content during the procedures - great way to soothe and distract. The admin staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Dr. Kari! This is a professional and friendly dental practice.

Today was my first appointment with T.O. Family Dentistry and I will definitely be going back. They were all so nice and professional. If you’re looking for a new dentist or been scared about seeing a dentist, you will not be disappointed.

One of the best practices I’ve been to. I have an irrational fear of the dentist from having bad experiences. Dr. Tapp Was wonderful and made me feel so welcomed. She’s very gentle and very knowledgeable, and had a lot of empathy. The staff is sweet and the office is clean and modern. I cannot recommend this dentist more!

I've been seeing Dr. Hong for over 15 years, and she has consistently delivered a professional, friendly, clean and comforting environment. She is caring, gentle, knowledgeable and always eases my dental anxiety. She is easily the best dentist I have ever been to and why I keep going back. Dr. Hong and her team are welcoming, engaging and friendly. It's an incredible and delightful experience. I recommend her and her team highly.

Dr. Kari Ann Hong and Dr. Tapp are exceptional dentist. The office is modern with state of the art equipment and high quality sterilization protocols in place. I’ve been a patient for many years, my adult children are patients, and I’ve referred several good friends here too! The hygienist are kind, experienced, and provide the best cleanings. This is the Best dental office in the Conejo Valley!

My family and I have been going to Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry for a few years now. Everyone in the office is very professional but also kind. It is clear that they all care about what they do and how they treat people, both clients and colleagues. They provide top-of-the-line service and high quality material. It's rare to find such an amazing group of individuals who truly listen and care for their clients, and provide the best of themselves during their work. My teeth have never looked or felt better! The first thing that stands out is the outstanding front office service and attention. Lead by Michael, they make you feel that you are respected and your concerns and comfort are of true concern to them. The dental professionals and assistants are also very affable and make you feel at ease during the visit with friendly dispositions and character. One of my first visits ended up leaving me discomforted, but was recognized by the staff and they worked to make it right. The way they handled a challenging situation combined with the overall demeanor and caring characteristics of the office will keep me coming back.

After my dentist retired, I was apprehensive about finding a dentist that would be as gentle and kind to replace him. I waffled for over a year unnecessarily! After a friend referred me to Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry, I called for a hygiene appointment-- they were able to accommodate both my husband and I the next day! Michael at the front desk helped with our insurance and personal information so when we arrived there was almost no wait. We were both taken in for our cleanings and evaluations within minutes, and all was painless and thorough. Dr. Tapp was soft spoken and gentle. Very friendly and polite, the staff knows who we are on arrival. Hardly no waiting time at all. The facility is presently accommodating for my handicapped spouse in a wheelchair and the staff are very helpful in assisting us patiently. Dr Tapp DDS is very thorough in explaining the procedure of our visit and we can relax knowing what to expect prior and after our examination. Our appointments are always made to meet our complicated schedules.
We have followed Dr Tapp DDS from another city to this one because my spouse refuses to settle for another DDS in our current city.
No doubt the best in our last 50 years.
