This review deals primarily with the aesthetic/teeth whitening side of Dr. Lesko's practice. I have tried all the over-the-counter teeth whitening products, and they are not inexpensive. All the while, I avoided the “real” professional teeth whitening because I deemed it to be too expensive.
The problem is that, at least for me, the over the counter products did not work. My teeth stayed yellow. I finally broke down and asked Dr. Lesko about professional teeth whitening, the kind with custom teeth molds and strong whiteners.
The molds help the whitener stay on the teeth and actually do the job. It’s true that it is more expensive than anything you will buy in the store, but I only wish I went the effective route in the first place. Now I have the molds, and I can choose to purchase more whitener if I want, which is not expensive at all. The real cost is in the molds that must be fabricated by a lab, so once you have those, you have real whitening capability.
Clinically speaking, Dr. Lesko is a welcome addition to the middle western part of Fort Collins. She is aggressive on the preventive side of dentistry, which I believe saves money (and pain) down the road.
My teeth have been healthy, but never white. Now they look as good as they feel, and I think I smile more as a result. If nothing else has worked for you, this will work. If a powerful whitener stays on your teeth (thanks to the molds) for 15 minutes at a time, it pretty much has to work. Thank you to Dr. Lesko for helping me to finally brighten my smile! — Greg T.
