I had an extraction that went horribly. Dr Johnson tried to hurry up the extraction. I had my wisdom teeth pulled a few years ago by a great dentist who took his time. All my wisdom teeth came out without a problem. That dentist took his time and slowly pulled each tooth. After about 3 minutes of trying Dr Johnson got frustrated and began to try and force the tooth. It broke apart to the point he had to cut and grind the rest. What a nightmare. If you need an extraction. Go elsewhere.

Update:new dentist informed me that I still have root left in the extraction area so I'll need another surgery to get that removed... yay!

I have been to a lot of dentists in my life and these guys are great. I was able to get in for an appointment the same day I called, and the doctor was able to get my broken tooth fixed and get me out of pain. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was so hesitant to get adult braces because of the financial cost, the embarrassment, and the physical pain I thought they would bring. Well, Dr McEwan and his staff convinced me otherwise! The cost was so low, I couldn't believe it was an easy monthly payment and with no money down. The braces were not painful as I imagined them to be, and Dr McEwan is extremely knowledgeable and makes any orthodontic issues you might have an absolute breeze! With extended weekend and evening hours it was convenient to make all of my appointments to fit within my busy schedule. The staff makes you feel as if you are part of their family; the entire office exceeds any expectations one might have about any dental office, anywhere! You won't find nicer people or a better quality of service, I highly recommend them to any and all!

Comfort Braces offers quality orthodontic care at the same prices as Denver - about half of what others here in the mountains charge. There is also no large downpayment to get started. It's just a monthly payment as low as $119/mo. Additionally, they are preferred providers with most insurance plans - this can save a tremendous about of money. They are open extended hours from 8AM-7PM and some Saturdays. The staff is friendly and competent. They survey their patients regularly and have a 97% "exceeds expectations" rating.

I dropped into Comfort Dental today and waited 30 minutes because I didn't have an appointment and they were completely booked so I was grateful they still saw me anyway ( I had tooth pain). I saw Dr. Ben Thornal and he was excellent and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this clinic and recommend this particular dentist. The staff is friendly too! The prices are very reasonable which is always a plus.

Comfort Dental Braces is the only place I would go for braces. They have free consultations where they talk to you about all your options along with the costs involved and the timeline that you would be looking at. They aren't pushy and let you take in all the information without making you feel like you have to give them an answer on if you want braces or not. If you do want braces they can put them on the same day which is really convenient and the pricing for them is amazingly affordable. I scheduled all of my appointments during my lunch break and was always back to work in time. They're a quick, friendly and helpful team who make the appointments fun to go to which makes the whole process go by a lot quicker. I would recommend them to anyone thinking about getting braces.

It was a great experience working with Dr. McEwan and all of the technicians that work with him. They were friendly and made it an enjoyable experience. Dr. McEwan initially told me I'd need braces between 18-24 months and I was extremely pleased when I was able to get them taken off in 18 months. Great orthodontist with affordable prices.

Fist they sent me home for the night with out finishing the extraction then I lost my prescription and they won't do anything about it I hope they get sued for the way they treat there customer's I could get a huge infection but no matter that I have too suffer from them buchering my tooth out, fist guy took and hour and a half of drilling and breaking away when he gave up I came in the next morning and the guy he called took less than 10 minutes. When I came back it ask about my prescription problem they didn't even know what the doctor prescribed the doctor the called was gone!!

The staff at Comfort Dental with Dr. McEwan, have always been very helpful! They are always willing to help their customers and making them feel comfortable with their braces experience.

My experience at the office has been somewhat like this: I go in for tooth pain, called ahead of time to let them know my insurance. Arrive at my apt. time early and the receptionist tells me she doesn't know what my insurance plan is and has to go behind the scenes to ask someone. I get a visit from the dentist, who is very kind and willing to listen. I am told I need a few fillings done and a deep cleaning. When I went to pay for my session, I asked for a TOTAL quote of the apt's I will need per the treatment plan I was advised. The billing assistants quoted me at around $800. Went in the next day for the first of two apt's, and when I left, my FIRST bill was $721. Baffled, I asked how much the next apt would be. $650. So, not only did the billing assistant completely mislead me, but when I asked why I was quoted so incorrectly, and explained how this was far more then I could afford, she placed blame on me saying I must not have understood her. Well yes, I don't work in a dentist office nor do I know teeth lingo. The expectation when someone comes into YOUR office for YOUR services, is that you explain and communicate well enough so people understand what they are getting and can make the executive decision for themselves what they want/can afford. I am now in a position where I am having to pay around $1400 dollars for a service I was told would cost $700. I am fortunate enough that I can make this work, mostly because I already had one service done and can't "undo" that. Imagine if I was a family who couldn't afford this and was told after the fact how much the bill was. Absolutely ridiculous.

OVERALL point: the dentist staff seem thoughtful and helpful, however the billing assistants don't seem to know what they're doing or how to thoughtfully communicate the necessary information pertinent to their role. You could probably find an office that is not comfort dental within the area where everyone serving you is competent and communicative...... unfortunately. Just a warning from my experience.
