Love coming here to see Dr. Dinh. Everyone is always so nice and helpful.

Professional, gentle, modern. I've been for routine visits and more invasive treatment and have been impressed. The techs and the dentist are thorough, gentle, and professional... With much more modern equipment than my old dentist. Highly recommend!

I hadn’t been to the dentist close to ten years and was very nervous to go again. Dr. Dinh was incredibly nice and personable. The x-ray tech (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name) was so so so nice and patient. And the lady who did my cleaning (I believed her name was heather) was very straightforward, no judgement anywhere! I also was given a blanket which helped me relax. I highly recommend coming here especially if it’s been awhile!

Place is a joke,they knew I was in total pain,and can't take certain medications, tell me to take ibuprofen and tylonol,which I explained to them I only have 1 kidney,can't take that stuff,so they send me off in total pain and did nothing 60 bucks,even with insurance.

This office is less concerned about your dental health and more concerned about how many services they can sell you. After xrays and exams, I was presented with a suite of services I was told I need. Total cost: $2200. My share after insurance would have been $550. I ended up getting the "deep cleaning" for $260. I am a little POed at myself now. I could have gotten the xrays, exam and regular cleaning for free under my current dental plan. From my experience at this office, the "deep cleaning" was not much more effective than the regular cleaning other than they numbed my mouth.

I was really turned off by their attempts to sell me all the boutique services. I won't go back to this dentist.

My daughter and were treated gently and carefully by Dr Dinh during the best dental experience we have ever had. We highly recommended Lakewood Modern Dentistry for the whole family! We are so grateful they are here to make our smiles bright 😁

This is a new & current update based on my latest dental visit Dec 15th...
I have had excellent experiences with this dental office from the first time I visited over a year ago but I have not always been satisfied with the hygienist experience until this last visit. This was the cleanest my teeth have ever felt after going to this dental office because of the excellent job their new dental hygienist, Abby did. She was extremely thorough in explaining everything she was doing and in discussing concerns and next steps in my personal dental plan. She was completely methodical and thorough with my cleaning and I could not have been happier. She made me look forward to going back for my next cleaning! Furthermore, the dentist I saw during this last visit, Dr. Dinh was awesome as well! She took an extra amount of time to gently file down a divet in one of my teeth that was annoying me. She was awesome all around and I am more than satisfied with this visit. Kate and her office staff are ALWAYS wonderful and Dr. Lam has simply been the best from day one. I have never been overcharged or made to get additional unnecessary services as some other reviewers have mentioned. I highly recommend this office, just as I did in my older review below a year ago. :)

Hard to believe I just got all 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled & I don't feel or remember a thing! Heck, I don't even look like I have a mouth full of wadded up gauze in the back of my mouth right now...not even any swelling! All I can say is modern technology is incredible these days & #LakewoodModernDentistry is amazing! They offered me innovative, conservative, affordable options when fixing a cracked tooth I had due to my wisdom teeth coming in and I couldn't be happier with the minimally invasive option Dr. Lam proceeded with! And when the Oral Surgeon, Dr. Grant Stucki, debated over whether or not he should include extracting my 4th impacted wisdom tooth he was sure to 1st consult with Dr. Lam & the orthodontist to make sure leaving it wouldn't pose a problem with my invisalign installation in the future. Talk about a team effort! All the staff here are friendly, very nice, funny, truly caring and thoughtful about their suggestive/recommended procedures. They're also efficient, knowledgeable, and thorough when addressing questions asked. I'm looking forward to a lasting relationship with #DrLamDMD & #OralSurgeon #DrStucki - They are both just fantastic!

Great office. Went there week ago to get a Crown replaced,that had been holding out on getting replaced for over 14 years. It was done very quickly and finally feels great to have full use of my right side. The staff and Doctor were very professional. The use the Newest advanced equipment and tools in the field.

BEWARE!— This dental practice is out to get your money! AVOID LAKEWOOD DENTISTRY! They’re a corporate dental office, which means they try to make money by over-diagnosing and scamming. I went in on 3/6/19 for x-rays and a routine cleaning. First, I had to wait about 45 minutes after my appointment to be seen by the dentist; as other reviewers have noted, this office is very slow. I was finally escorted to the back, where I was given an unnecessarily long and complicated x-ray procedure. I then sat down with Dr. Lam to review my x-rays and presumably have my teeth cleaned. She proceeded to focus on one area of my mouth (upper left), prescribing me with a root canal and two crowns. She wouldn’t talk to me about anything else in my mouth besides my upper left, despite my inquiries (weird, I thought), and kept pushing the procedures. I got the feeling she was catastrophizing my condition and using scare tactics to manipulate me. I then asked if we would be doing my routine cleaning that day, and she refused to treat me! She insisted she would not clean my teeth until I had a periodontal root planing procedure (my internal dialogue: “So you’d rather have my money than actually DO YOUR JOB and help my teeth!”). Then she called in her “financial arrangement specialist” (AKA one of the receptionists...) to consult with me regarding financing procedures that were not covered by my insurance. I’ve never had to do this before at a dentist and seemed extremely slimy and scammy to me. They wanted to charge me $5,800 for procedures that were not covered by my insurance! I just had to smile and nod while biting my tongue.

Luckily, I escaped and found reputable dentist. It turns out I have two cavities, which is not perfect—BUT I do not need crowns, a root canal, OR root planing! The dentist even CLEANED MY TEETH himself! Imagine! Oh— I asked to have the x-rays emailed from Lakewood Modern Dentistry to my new office a week before I went in for my appointment. The receptionist at Lakewood Modern Dentistry said she would send the x-rays within the next day. She did not, which delayed my dental appointment while we waited for the x-rays to sent over. After the x-rays were sent, my new dentist said they were terrible: the roots were cut off in most frames, frames had half of the teeth missing, and they were generally unclear. So much for Lakewood’s supposedly “modern” approach.

Bottom line (TL;DR): Avoid Lakewood Modern Dentistry like the plague! Dr. Lam is out to make a buck and doesn’t actually care for her patients’ health. Beware these corporate dental practices, they over-diagnose in an effort to take your money, not out of genuine concern for your health. Lakewood Modern Dentistry wanted to charge me $5,800 outside of my insurance for work that I do NOT need. Meanwhile I’ve gotten a second opinion from a reputable dental practice and I only have two cavities.
