I went in to Monument Family Dentistry on Monday for my six month check up and teeth cleaning. Because of Covid 19 Protocols, check In was different in that you called the office once you arrived, they said they were ready for me to come in. If they weren’t, you stayed outside (in your car) and would text you when ready for you. I had to sign a questionnaire then had my temperature taken. Once that was done, my teeth were cleaned by hygienist Brenda. She is the best, thorough, friendly and funny. Dr. Bartwhistle and the rest of the staff is friendly too.

Called this morning with a throbbing tooth ache. The receptionist told me that my last visit was back in 2017, which is true. She then said that they could get me in at 1pm for a cleaning and "maybe" he could look at my tooth after that. Are you serious? I now have a new dentist and will see him tomorrow morning.

My family and I have been going here for about 14 years, and even thought I am, as Kramer might say, an avowed "anti-dentite", I feel very comfortable getting my teeth taken care of here. The staff are very pleasant and take great care of you and Dr. Burtwistle is outstanding - highly competent with a great "chairside" manner. Highly recommend, especially if you are like me and not too fond of dentists! They will change your mind.

MFD did a crown for me and they did a fantastic job. The appointment is a little long while you wait for the crown to be cut but I got some work done with my laptop while waiting. They do excellent work. I highly recommend MFD.

I went in for a exam and cleaning on 11/14/17. Dentist recommended I get 7 fillings redone for a cost of over $2000. I got a second opinion from my old dentist in Aurora, CO. He recommended I get only one of the fillings redone for $144 which was about $100 less for that tooth than Monument Family Dentistry wanted to charge. I simply wanted to state the facts. I will let people come to their own conclusions.
