Stonegate Dental Care

The office staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional. This is unfortunate as the dentist is quite nice. His new associate however, is much better qualified and seems far better at diagnosing problems. They don't explain any of their pricing up front and bill your insurance company for procedures that they didn't perform. Also, the technician who clean my teeth was wearing a face shield but forgot to put on her face mask. They do need to step up their PPE especially as they charge your insurance company for it!

Stonegate Dental is one of the best dental offices I have ever been to. The hygineists are gentle and friendly. Dr. Rentz takes the time to explain what is going on and take additional x-rays if needed. I have never felt pressured or upsold for any treatments. They always send notifications to get the most out of our dental insurance. We have been loyal patients for 3 years and will be for many more!

I was usually very reluctant to go to the dentist, but that has changed because of the wonderful staff at Stonegate Dental.They are friendly and make you feel very comfortable from the time you walk in the front door. They are gentle and take their time to explain their plan for the visit. I was very excited to get a new crown in ONE visit because of the new technology they have right in the office. FIVE SMILES!

Stonegate Dental is wonderful community based and minded dental practice. Warm, inviting and equipped with the newest of technologies - Dr. Rentz and his magical staff of real life tooth fairies make a visit to the dental chair - almost a pleasure. As a "old broad" with yucky teeth, the team here have worked diligently in helping me achieve a smile, worth smiling about! Now if only they could do something about my hips....

I had not been to the dentist in way too long, but the staff at Stonegate Dental were very accomodating and never shaming. They made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Plus they have some early hours and evening hours for people who work regular schedules. Dr. Rentz did a great job on my teeth and now my husband is going to see him. I would highly recommend them to friends and family!

Highly recommend. Some of the staff, not so great (that is the reason for 4 stars) but everything else was wonderful. I felt listened to and cared for by Dr. Rentz and most of those I encountered. It’s nice to feel you’re in good hands.

I’m 75 years old and haven’t seen a dentist in years. Had breast cancer which added to poor teeth.
From the minute I walked in I knew the fear was gone. From Becky’s great painless cleaning to meeting the dentist I was overwhelmed at the ease of the whole process. The dentist asked me what I expected from them and he was so very understanding about financial worries. I highly recommend this office from the receptionist to the office manager.

If you avoid going to the dentist because of fear, discomfort, or any other reason then Stonegate Dental is for you. The staff is very friendly. Dr. Rentz and his staff listen to you. If they can make you comfortable they will. Dr. Rentz takes his time to speak with you and explain your dental care. The deep comfortable couches with the wide screen tv and fireplace make you feel like you are in your living room and not in a dentist waiting room.

I went back for my six-month​ cleaning. Chris, the Dental Hygienist​ who cleaned my teeth was very nice and professional. She remembered from my previous visits how a pillow behind my neck helped me.

Dr. ​Rentz, Michelle and all of the staff treat you like a friend and not just as a patient.

By the way, ​since I started seeing Dr. Rentz my teeth have never been in better shape.

Sadly, my latest experience with Stonegate Dental was poor and far from meeting expectations. There were many miscommunications regarding the appointment (from the time of it as well as with payment). Also, I called/texted the night of after getting home to try and schedule my follow up appointment, no one returned the message. I have since emailed twice, no reply. I called and left another voice message today, no reply. I get the feeling they do not want me to continue being a patient or to make my next appointment, so I guess I won't.

I have 2 teenagers with dental anxieties that were off the charts! My daughter would cry through every cleaning at our previous dentist. That has all changed at Stonegate Dental Care! My daughter loves the hygienists there and both doctors! They are gentle and have his instrument called the cavitron. My daughter had only had hand scaling previously. The cavitron was a game changer for her! #NoMoreTears
We found out my son had cavities at his last cleaning. I was devastated given the last time he needed dental work, we had to take him to Children's Hospital to be put under because his anxieties were so bad. DrRentz informed me of the oral sedation they had available at their office and believed my son would be a good candidate. I was a ball of nerves and not 100% sure it would work for my son and his anxieties but the procedure went great! DrRentz and Wendy were kind, gentle, patient and worked quickly to finish all the restoritve worked needed during the window of time they had! The next day my son couldn't remember much about the visit! No additional trauma for him or another reason to be scared of the dentist!
