UPDATE (changed from 4 to 2 stars):
I recently went back to this clinic, well over a year after my first visit... for the sole purpose of wanting to speak to a dentist for a quick couple opinions. I had no cleaning or any other work done in any form. (I'd had work done at the dental college in Aurora since my first visit there to save a ton of money.) There was a woman handling the reception area who made sure to tell me it "was not her job" to be up there and she "worked in the back" (obviously very unhappy about it). She took me back & took only one bite wing x-ray. The only reason I went was to get dental opinions she could not give, so the visit was a complete waste of my time. I was given a couple lists of utterly outrageous prices (one with their dental plan & one without) when I wasn't even sure it was the type of work I wanted since I didn't get to see a true dentist. The prices were higher than anywhere else I'd been. I left not getting needed answers. The worst was when the same lady tried to bill me $149 (which was ridiculous since I never saw a dentist and had nothing done). Luckily, since I informed her I was specifically told it would cost $19 instead, she fixed that mistake; therefore, the two stars instead of one.

Today was only my first visit, but everyone was extremely kind and professional. It was a bummer though that their panaramic x-ray machine was not working, which was a main reason for my going.

I was pleasantly surprised at the attitude of the whole staff and I would recommend this establishment to anyone who is need of dental work in a totally non pressured environment

Cindy, the hygienist, is thorough, gentle and friendly as always. My cleaning was done in a quick but efficient manner. X-rays were taken and reviewed and Dr. M did a check up after the cleaning. Recommendations were made. Very good visit, wonderful staff.

Five stars again today!
_______________

My previous one star rating is below the line. Today the office manager called me and discussed my situation with me. She was very personable and professional. After I left yesterday, I called my insurance company and sure enough, they cover 50%...So now I know what is in store for me down the road and I can plan and save. Today the office manager helped me 100% by working with me within my budget and I am happy to say I will get a replacement crown in January! If it wasn't for the office manager/woodland Dental, I Would not be able to afford the crown. Thank you for bending over backwards to accommodate me and lifting my spirits! There are good people and businesses out there!

I had previously given them 5 stars. Today it is one…I would have given them negative of that were possible. Back in October the new dentist and I discussed replacing an old worn out crown. They were going to contact my insurance and let me know if it was covered. 50 days passed and I had not heard anything. So I call to inquire and they say it looks like it was never submitted. So she says she'll do it and I should receive something in the mail in a week or so. Two weeks later I call because I hadn't heard anything. Again, it was never submitted. So she says she will do it and call me back. True to her word, she did. Says Delta dental has no record of my crown (like i said it's very old). So we set up an appointment for today. I'm super excited because I've met my deductibles for the year…thinking nothing out of pocket. I get to my appointment today and they want $442! I ask what for? My insurance will cover it. They then tell me insurance companies rarely cover about 50%. I am pretty upset at this point. She asked didn't anyone tell you? NO! I am on a budget and cannot afford this. I wanted to get this done before the end of the year because I met my deductibles. She says we can reschedule tomorrow or Thursday…if I can't afford $442 today, what makes her think I can afford it in one or two days?

I am so flustered with this dentist office…at least the office side…I'm looking for a new dentist.

(Written on behalf of my wife) I have probably been to 20 or more different dentists. Every year my pain and teeth issues have gotten worse and worse which means I need more detail in caring attention. This is the best dentist I have ever been to. They listened to me, they asked the right questions and they believed me. This is the first dentist I feel I can go to without having my husband be there to help advocate for me. Although they are connected to my previous dentist they have better customer service and bedside manner then my previous dentist. I don’t know how they are with cavities and such, I am seeing them after oral surgery and fitting dentures. They are ten times better then the people who did my top dentures. This dentist office although part of a dental group, runs their office the way the dentist and staff feel they should run the office. Highly recommend!!

I was favorably impressed with the staff. I liked that they worked with me to help me be able to afford the work that I needed. I will tell others. I had a good time. Weird for being at the Dentist.😁. Had my teeth cleaned today and Cindy did a great job. We had fun talking and she inflicted no pain. I'll be back.

The facility is very nicely kept and up to date. My dental hygienist is the nicest lady. Very pleasant to talk to. The dentist is redoing something that was done incorrectly the first time, free of charge and got me on the schedule within the week. Overall a good place to go to the dentist.

We recently moved to Colorado and needed to find new dental services. We found this Group on the internet and gave them a try. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped us through each step of the way and were very "gentle"when performing procedures! We have become lifelong patients now!

Dentist referred me to a specialist in the Spgs. I have pain on the left side, but x-rays didn't show anything. He thought I might need a root canal, but there's a crown over top. He didn't seem to want to pull a front tooth w/cavity & make me a new partial when I asked. There are dentists who go through a crown to do a root canal, so not going to pursue the specialist. Think this dentist thought I needed dentures w/implants, which could be very costly. I'm 75 & don't want to spend that much money for all that right now.

I loved the clean atmosphere. This is very important for a dentist. To many dental offices are old and look like the 70's. Woodland Park Dental has a nice clean new office. The receptionist was very friendly. Of course loved Elona. During my visit, they made me feel comfortable and secure on what they were doing on my appointment.
