I am not a fan of going to the dentist. When I got here, everyone was so nice and accommodating including the doctor himself. They have the best staff, hands down! If you need any dental work done, this is the place to go.

Dr. Hughes is absolutely awful! We come in for our first appointment and we were screened for Covid and temperatures were taken (where I’m from this is not normal to be still crazily worried about covid). Then they tell me that parents are not allowed back. I told them, that would have been nice to know before I drove 2 hours. I am not ok with him being back there by himself. They talked to Dr. and he was fine that I can back, but when I got back there he was very short and rude. He was annoyed I was asking questions and wanted to know more about what was going on with my sons tooth (this was an emergency visit). He just said “he’s fine! It’s normal- just keep it clean!” And he just kept repeating that. So I said thank you very much to him and he said nothing back to me just looked at us and raised his eyebrows. I told my son to tell him “thank you!” And my son did and he again said nothing and just looked at us like he couldn’t wait for us to leave. We said thank you to the hygienist and she said nothing as well. The only nice person is the front desk lady and one of the other hygienist that took him back. We willll neeeevvvvveeeer come back! That man is mean and needs to work on his bedside manners and so does his hygienist (the black one). I now have to go get a 2nd opinion because I don’t trust his knowledge. If he is that unprofessional with his clients, I can’t trust he knows what he is talking about.

After talking with the dentist and his associates for 15 minutes about how frustrating insurance is and how they fail to care for patients and are now focused on the business model instead, the office turned around and did the same thing. I was told upon checkout that there was a $29 copay. I thought it was odd considering it should’ve been covered, but I paid it anyway and called my insurance to ask about it. They told me the cleaning should’ve been covered fully and to call the office back, which I did. Apparently the office charged me a ‘COVID in office fee’—which I wasn’t informed about and was told was a “copay” upon paying. My care was fully covered by insurance; this is just an additional fee I was not told about. Sad because they were very nice people, I just wish they were transparent about hidden fees (which I didn’t know existed at dentist offices) or nixed them all together. Not happy and won’t be coming back :(

My daughter went in for her first ever dental appointment and we were greeted very warmly by 2 staff members at the front desk. The front office was very nice, clean and cozy. There is a separate little room called "The Education Center" with 2 desks with computers to fill out the dental forms. Very nice! No hard to manage clipboards with endless pages of paperwork!

The dental hygienist introduced herself to me and my daughter. She explained that parents are not allowed in the back with their kids. Sensing my hesitation, she told me everything that would happen and that she would be present at all times. She even offered to give me a referral to another dentist if I was uncomfortable.

Since it was just a routine checkup and my daughter seemed at ease, we went ahead with the visit. At the end of the session, the hygienist escorted my happy daughter out with stickers, a bag of dental stuff and a toy from the prize box. She told me what happened and how my daughter reacted. Very professional.

Finally, I asked to meet the dentist. He appeared a little annoyed (understandable because I'm sure he's pretty busy), but relaxed when he realized I just wanted to thank him and put a face with the name.

It was a very pleasant experience over all. The only thing I don't like is not being able to accompany my kid during the procedures, but they were very patient with my questions and the Doc took the time to talk to me as well. I recommend the practice for sure.

I love Dr. Bert and his staff. They were so much friendlier than any other office, that I signed up for their suggested plan before even meeting him. Best dental decision I've ever made. I have recommended several co-workers and a few friends in need of dental care. They are all just as excited as family to finally find out LAST DENTIST! *Dr. Bert has fixed a few broken teeth, and a front chipped tooth. "I" can barely see the work, and "I" know it's there. Thank You F&CD Team..

Dr. Hughes is evil and this place should be shut down. He is a bully and shouldn't be allowed near patients.

I went in today with my 6 year old and was told I could not go back with him. I have never had this happen before. The dental hygienist said the rooms are small and “we have done it like this for years.” I almost left the office but my son was already missing school and wanted to know about the health of his teeth. After 30 minutes or so, the dental hygienist calls me back to show me xrays that showed 3 cavities. I never once met the Dentist or spoke to him regarding my child’s teeth. I will be looking for a different provider ASAP.

This was one of my BEST experiences at the dentist ever! The staff were all really sweet and I was not as intimidated because of how thoughtful everyone taking care of me was. They also got me in in less than a week or two while other spots were giving me dates weeks or months away.

Dr. Hughes is an amazing dentist. I really like his attention to detail and how well he explained the treatment I needed. He also has a great staff! I highly recommend this dental office.
