Dr. Zieman understood my fears of dentistry the very 1st time he saw me. He fixed 8 years' worth of neglect and has helped me maintain a healthy smile for over 35 years now! Plus, Ginny, his dental hygienist, is absolutely the BEST! When she cleans my teeth, it is like we are partners in keeping me comfortable; I trust her implicitly. Even though I consider myself a "dentiphobe," I can just relax and let her & Dr. Zieman perform their amazing work. And, it REALLY helps that they let me use my own "Walkman" to "tune out" the sound of dental machines while I groove to my own jams! The mere THOUGHT of going to another dentist gives me the "heebie jeebies!"

My first review at the bottom of this post but I had to add this update for those of you with children. This is from a visit this week.

As a parent one of the most challenging life events is seeing your child in pain. The pain can be physical or mental. The incredible team at Gibson, Refroe & Zieman took care of both.

A scooter accident left my daughter with not one but two severely chipped front teeth. The mental pain I had to watch her experience as she told me how other children called her names because of the teeth was excruciating. All I wanted to do was give her back her beautiful smile that she had always so freely shared with everyone she met. Little did I know how much more I would get from Dr. Kirk Heath.

Working with the hands of an skilled artist he not only restored my daughter's smile, he did it without causing her the pain that would normally be associated with such a procedure. Gently explaining the procedure, guiding her in how to think of a happy place and basically putting her in a parasympathetic state was so effective I never saw a twitch or a tear from her. My daughter was calm and peaceful even through the multiple sets of shots that had to be given.

Dr. Heath and his helper Kirk were like angels taking care of my daughter. They kept her from experiencing physical pain during the procedure and left he with such a beautiful and natural smile that her mental pain of worrying about how she looked was eliminated too.

I cannot say enough good things about these two fine men. My gratitude for them is palpable and they will always be heroes to us. Thank you both.

This is what a dental practice SHOULD be! From the very start every person at the office was professional, caring and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and that I was comfortable moving forward. Dr. Heath took the time to explain the "plan" moving forward. At no time did I feel he was rushed to finish up with me and get to another patient. He answered each question in full detail making sure I was comfortable with the explanation. Quick scheduling, coordinating referrals with other professionals, even free samples of Sensodyne toothpaste and coupons for discounts on other products to help promote a healthy mouth; a holistic approach to patient care was felt and appreciated. (Plus they have nitrous oxide for big babies like me :-) I don't normally post reviews but this dental practice went so out of their way to make me feel comfortable that I felt the need to return the favor. If you are looking for a dentist...please...start here...it will make your search very short.

I had an dental emergency on a Friday afternoon during the stay-at-home orders and Dr. Gibson returned my call immediately and was able to take care of me promptly. His office observed all safety precautions and I felt completely at ease.

Every single person here was kind, compassionate, and made me feel in safe hands and cared for. They did an amazing job on my awful teeth, I was honestly blown away. I had no pain the following day from my first procedure and minimal from my 2nd when I was expecting (from previous experience at other offices) at least a few days. The pain I did have they made sure that I was comfortable and I am so beyond appreciative of that because pain can cause my RA to flare. I saw them right at the beginning of the first quarantine and had to go back in for a follow up and 2nd procedure during which I was nervous for because of my autoimmune disorder but after the first trip I knew they were doing everything in the best way possible to keep us safe. I would and do recommend them to anyone and everyone I can! 10/10

Dr Zieman continues to be the best dentist I have used. He is knowledgeable and skilled in all he does. His restorations are the best I have had both in color and shape. He is pleasant and makes a visit to the dentist an experience that I know I will be totally satisfied with the work. I am fortunate to have him as my dentist

Upon first walking into the practice, you know you're in for a delightful experience. The ambiance is welcoming, the staff is cheerful, and there's a certain energy that exists in the air that really says "we care about your smile." Bonnie and Samantha have both provided excellent service for me at the front desk. Lynn was an exceptional hygienist and was very thorough throughout the cleaning. Dr. Heath was personable, professional, and insightful. However the highlight ofnmy visit was easily the lovely assistant, Ari. Her welcoming demeanor put my nerves to rest and made me feel much more comfortable than I did before walking in. She has the smile of an angel and he chairside manner of a seasoned professional. I look forward to strengthening my relationship with his amazing practice as the days go forward.

Steve Zieman has been my dentist for 45 years. I trust Steve and his staff implicitly. Steve retired and I have great faith in the practitioners at Gibson and Heath Family Dentistry.

Excellent care across the board, professional and timely expert staff interactions with a positive focus are the rule in this practice!

I have been going to Dr. Zieman ever since I was a kid and this dentistry practice has always been top notch. I was even more impressed recently when I had a tooth issue earlier this year and saw Dr. Gibson while Dr. Zieman was away for the holidays. Both he and his assistant Nick were very friendly and accommodating, to-the-point, and even offered to make special time in their holiday schedule in order to help me out. Being a medical professional myself, I highly recommend making this your family's dentistry group for any of your routine or emergency dental needs.
