I saw Dr. Talavera as a new patient for an exam along with xrays. Hes an amazing communicator with great bedside manners that explains all the treatment neccesary in detail.I can tell hes very passionate about providing excellente work and genuinely cares about his patients. I felt at ease and after hearing the treatment I needed and an opening in the schedule he was able to accomadate me to do some fillings the same day.After I left the office I knew I had found my family dentist for ever, I felt at ease and he is very trust worthy. Staff is always friendly & warm, and Dr. Talavera is very kind, personable, and knowledgable. He’s also conservative in his treatments...never does anything that doesn’t absolutely need to be done (Ie, no price-gouging or trying to sell you unnecessary procedures). Dt. T has an “old-school” mentality of 1) being excellent at the technical aspects of what he does, 2) having great “bedside manner”, and 3) doing whatever it takes to take excellent care of the patient...which is hard to find these days. If they’re booked and it’s hard to get in for an appointment, this is why. But totally worth the wait!!!

I admit it. I am the world’s worst dental patient. I am usually so terrified about going that I start crying before I enter the waiting room. I pay for dental insurance that I never use because I am too afraid to go. This all changed when I found Dr. Talavera and his wonderful staff at Oak Springs Dentistry. I believe that God sent Dr. Talavera to help me while I was searching dentists on google, which I had done many times before to no avail. The fact that all of his reviews were 5 stars, with such positive comments I decided to give him a try because I had a severe problem that needed attention. I also couldn’t believe that I had been driving by his office for years and never noticed it, and it’s about 5 minutes from my house! Not only did Dr. Talavera give me an exam and detailed diagnosis, I let him clean my teeth AND perform a root canal! I didn’t even cry! Dr. Talavera is a miracle dentist! I think he is the BEST DENTIST IN THE WORLD!!! He is so gentle, caring, honest, sincere, trustworthy, listens to you, and is such a gentleman! He and his staff are so accommodating to my special needs and schedule. Big shout out to Shelley!!! I just cannot praise them enough! I am so happy that I found Oak Springs Dentistry which truly is an answer to a prayer! This is going to be a long term relationship! <3

I don’t know how but I actually enjoyed going to the dentist. Everyone is super friendly and fun. I had 4 fillings that I needed and it was absolutely painless. I will definitely be there again for my next appointment
