From receptionist to nurse, they are very informative, helpful and friendly, like a professional team. Dr. Michael Luu is super professional and friendly. I never thought that tooth extraction could be such good experience! This place is amazing and well deserved 5 stars rating.

Very thorough examination and treatment. Dr. Luu and dental hygienist Irish were both professional and answered my questions thoughtfully. I have been going to this clinic for several years and have been quite satisfied with all aspects of the practice.

I had to get oral surgery done, and I felt safe and in good hands with all the nurses and the Doctor. The staff were experienced and knowledgeable, professional, and patient. Pretty much all questions I had , they could provide an answer and even advice. My only wish is that I had better dental insurance so that I could come back to get my mouth fixed from this office more often.

I started going to Hawaii Dental Clinic recently and am happy I found them. I had a bad toothache and was able to get an appointment the very next day. My dentist-phobia slowly disappeared as my first visit progressed. Cheerful staff made me feel comfortable. Dr. Luu has good chair side manners and I relaxed a little bit. He answered my questions, and solved my problem quickly. I had all the information I needed to have confidence in the recommended. I was pleased with that first visit and continue to go to them for my dental needs.

Update: It’s December 2021 and I just had my last appointment for this year. Hawaii Dental Clinic continues to exceed my expectations. The process of getting a bridge for the first time went very well from start to finish. A perfect fit on the first try! I am very happy with the comfort and appearance. Dr. and staff are so informative, friendly, caring, and professional. I look forward to more visits and improving my dental health.

2023 Update: When a business is consistent it builds trust in their clients. Hawaii Dental Clinic continues to provide me with excellent care.
When I went in for teeth cleaning it was discovered I had an infection under a molar. It was not to the point of causing great pain so it was fortunate I could have it taken care of quickly. Dr. Luu and staff let me know what was going on every step of the process. They were also sensitive to my pain levels. Instructions for aftercare were given verbally and through print.

Another good experience at Hawaii Dental and their staff. Patient, kind, and professional. Thank you for taking me so quickly to regale my temporary crown I will try to be good about my eating the soft stuff! Mahalo!

When I came in the front desk and the doctor was super welcoming and nice. I love that they made sure I understand the procedure before doing it and making sure I’m comfortable at all times. I feel like I’m not in doctor office and just hanging out with friends, I give them 10/10 because there very family oriented and the service was amazing and I would recommend anybody to come here to get there dental work done. Thank you Dr. Luu and Staff for giving me the best experience.

It’s so difficult to schedule appointments here, reception doesn’t call back. Dentist doesn’t even introduce himself just sits down and starts telling you how bad you are at brushing your teeth.
Today they cancelled my appointment the morning of since the dentist “has to leave early.”
Hygienist is nice however.
He did call back to apologize however and I did appreciate his assessment.

best dental experience! everyone is so friendly and patient, from the front desk to all the dental hygienists. dr. lu is so amazing—quick, gentle and of course super friendly and patient, just like the rest of his staff. also need to mention, i never wait for my appointment time; they’re always on time !
