We are a dental technology and continuing education provider for dental professionals on a global level. We have worked with over 15,000 dentists over the last 2 decades and intimately know the level of care Dr. Ha provides for his patients. He makes no compromises in delivering dentistry at the highest level possible. We had the privilege of hosting him at a recent event with dental professionals where he shared his vast knowledge and expertise with fellow like minded dental professionals. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the amount of detail he pays attention to with every single patient. We can’t recommend him highly enough for your dental care.

From stepping into the office, it and the staff were very welcoming. Had an 11am appointment and there was no waiting. At 11, they were calling me in. Karen was very nice and professional taking pictures. During the exam, I suddenly felt very "out of sorts" and
had to leave to get some air. Shawn came out to make sure I was OK and was very caring and we appreciated her kindness and understanding. Mahalo HSD!

Inquired about replacing a single bottom tooth and was dismayed to discover $5000 charge for a single tooth plus $260 fee for consultation and $250 for 3D Xrays. YIKES. ...

There is no better dentist.
I have never been to this location, but saw him at a previous practice. Dr. Ha is the perfect dentist. I had severe dental anxiety which caused me to neglect my teeth health, needed a root canal. He made me stop hating the dentist. He is caring, funny, has amazing banter and is just genuinely an awesome dude. Since he moved practices I’ve had no one that can possibly compare to him. Do yourself a favor and choose him for your dental care. I wish I still could.

Honolulu Smile Design is awesome! Dr. Ha and his team are professional, friendly and so organized. I've been to a handful of dentists (inHin and California) and Honolulu Smile Design has made me feel the most comfortable (and who can say that about a dentist?!). The scheduling process is very easy - communication is clear, easy and fast. I especially appreciate seeing one hygienist each time (Jessica!) who is very knowledgeable. Dr. Ha is very thorough, explains everything clearly and doesn't push or sell procedures (which I've experienced at other dentists). And best of all everyone is so kind, nice and make the experience of going to the dentist painless.

Honolulu Smile Design is an amazing experience! Be prepared to be treated with much respect and care. The office staff, dental assistants/ hygienist team is extremely friendly, fun to talk to, organized, and always on top of they schedules/ follow-ups. I've been through many Dentists (some aggressive, some not so caring, some I'm just not so sure about....) Dr. Ha is an extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and a caring doctor. He is excellent at explaining in a very easy to understand way and gives practical recommendations. You can tell patient comfort and care is their #1 priority in dealing with the staff. I also appreciate the doctor following up with me over the phone after a major work. Thanks Dr. Ha and staff! You are amazing and make the "trip to the dentist" experience fun and educational!

I had a wonderful experience at Honolulu Smile Design! Everyone was very friendly and professional. Dr. John Ha has a very proactive approach to dentistry. He took the time to answer all my question and he was able to explain it in a relatable way which made it easier to understand. I had a smile on my face from the time I got in till the time I left, I’m guessing that was all by design.

This office is truly amazing! Never been a fan of going to the dentist but they made it so simple and enjoyable. They were so nice and welcoming the second I walked through the door. The staff seems genuinely concerned with my overall well being. I didn't feel like I was just another number and tooth to them. Dr. Ha looks like he really enjoys his job and his patients. This was my first visit with Dr. Ha and his team and it was a great experience!!! It was easy to make my appointment and everyone was so friendly, gentle, and thorough. What I really liked is that Dr. Ha and the hygienist Pearl took their time to go over with me ways to take care and improve the health of my teeth and gums. I did not feel rushed and was given time to ask any questions that came to mind. Thanks Dr. Ha and your team at Honolulu Smile Design!!!

Dr Ha and his staff are great! You can tell that they really know their stuff and take pride in the care they provide to their patients. Dr Ha is a great guy and very easy to talk to so that makes dental visits a lot easier. I recommend them!
