Just got here to Hawaii and of course needed to find a new dentist for my keiki and I am so glad the reviews did not steer me wrong! I met Dr. Dean Sueda and staff today and they were all so friendly, I loved it! I especially love how Dr. Sueda explained everything that he was going to do with the children and taught me a thing or two about brushing their teeth :) you can tell he loves his job and that's great! I love doctors with some personality and willing to educate their patients as well, it just makes everything feel more welcoming. Definitely recommend Kapolei Keiki Dental for all your keiki dental needs!!!

If your in search for a pediatric dentist, I highly recommend them for your keiki.
First off, I hate waiting long to be seen, here I have never had that problem, they call you back quickly and never have had to wait long in the waiting room.
The care my keiki have received each visit is so personalized and caring, and they make them feel so comfortable.
If it's for fillings or if it's even for just a simple cleaning visit, they are quick, caring and fun to make keiki feel safe and not scared in a dentist office.
The decor is vibrant and fun and speaks to kids, there is TVs in each room to distract them which is great.
The receptionists are also so amazing and kind, they always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome.
I wish I had this kind of care when I was a kid!

All 3 of my children come to the dentist and they are so friendly and make you feel like family. They always call you the day before your schedule appointment just to remind you about it. The office is always nice and clean and really kid friendly. They always let me know what is going on with my children's teeth when I had my oldest son and his brother were getting their teeth clean at the same time I was able to walk back and forth to their rooms to check on them. My kids always ask me when can they go back to the dentist. My daughter who is 1 loves going to her check up and having her teeth brush and she always gets excited when she gets a new toothbrush. I highly recommend Kapolei Keiki Dental I would not change my kids dentist I love them and love their aloha spirit.

This dentist office is one of the best I have found so far for my son. They are really friendly and try there best to accommodate me. I would have given 5 stars, but with their new scheduling policy it's really inconvenient. With their new policy any quest members cant schedule on the weekend, I'm a single mom and i work Monday through Friday 730-430 in down town. I personally dont agree with making all quest members schedule only on the weekdays, because of it I'm actually looking for other dentist options for my son. Other then that this place is really great place.

My 5 yr old nephew has been a patient since they first opened in 2016. He had a couple of baby teeth pulled out and fillings done. I have nothing but good things to say about this office. They take care of my nephew and always puts a smile on his face. The office is always clean and neat, and that says a lot. Because who can trust a dirty and unorganized office? Everyone here is great, from the Doctors to the staff. I would definitely recommend Kapolei Keiki Dental to everyone.

Dr Dean and Dr Stacie are AWESOME! My daughter is super apprehensive of going to the dentist and Kapolei Keiki Dental makes her feel so comfortable. She is 4 and still alittle afraid to go in by herself but they allow me to go in with her and comfort her. I highly recommend Kapolei Keiki Dental to anyone looking for a Pedodontist. We live in Aiea but will drive all the way out to Kapolei to see Dr. Stacie. Its hard to find trustworthy dentist now and the Sueda's are definitely trustworthy and honest.

My daughter is 3 years old and was seen at Kapolei Keiki dental 3 times. Her initial appointment they did X-Rays and a basic cleaning. They mentioned that my daughter had decay on the back of her top front teeth and that they would need to do fillings. So the second visit they suggested they do the 4 fillings in the inside of her front top teeth. They strapped her to a board to keep her still and was able to fill the 4 fillings. About 2 weeks after the fillings one of them fell out. When I called to ask for her to be seen because her nerve was exposed, they told me that they were completely booked and couldn't see her. I asked what to do for pain and where they reccomend that I take her in the event of a dental emergency. The receptionist was rude and couldn't answer my questions. After waiting to here back from them it was about 30mins before closing and I decided to bring my daughter in to be seen. She was crying of pain and I didn't want to have permanent nerve damage. When I arrived the waiting room was completely empty so I am not sure why she couldn't have been seen. The dentist took her in and was able to re-do the filling. Then about 2 months later another one of her fillings fell out and when I called to bring her in, a girl dentist helped us and she was very rude. She kept cranking my daughter's jaw open and she drilled into my daughter's tooth to the point where she bled from her tooth, NOT HER GUMS BUT HER TOOTH! I am not happy about how that visit went. Before we left i requested my daughter dental records and I will be taking her somewhere else. Now her front tooth is discolored and the filling is discolored as well. I am going to be getting a second opinion and I hope they didn't cause permanent nerve damage. I am very disappointment that when my daughter's fillings fell out (which shouldn't happen) and she was in pain they didn't make her a priority or try to fix the situation. It seemed more that they were trying to avoid the situation or put it off.

My kids loved these 2 dentists. He and his daughter made us all feel comfortable. My kids old dr. would just come in after they were done getting cleaned and tell me what he saw on the charts from his nurse but Dr. Sueda came in and talked to my kids about school, sports and home. He had all 5 of them laughing and relaxed. Their teeth all looked good and they can't wait to go back. The office is clean parking isn't a problem and they even have a big snap chat machine that the kids can take pictures on and send to their phones.

I have been a patient of Dr Sueda for over 20 years. I was really excited that he opened up another office on the west side (kapolei). He is not only a great dentist but he spends a little extra time after each visit to go over what he did. I have no plans on switching to another dentist. I highly recommend Dr Sueda to anyone who is looking for a children's dentist.

The dentist and staff are very friendly.Always make it fun for the kids to easing comfort level not only the kids but parents too. They have a good way of speaking with children using smooth and calm voices.I like when they explained all the treatment option first and make sure I understand and agreed on everything.
