My experience here was the worst one i’ve had at a dentist office. Front desk ladies were amazing; the nurses and dentist themselves though were an entirely different story. I went in to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, i payed almost $300 for a sedative that didn’t even really work, which yes i realize that sedatives don’t work for everyone that wasn’t really the problem. The problem was i felt EVERYTHING. By everything i mean i felt them cutting, i felt them pulling and i felt them stitching. I got a bit worked up as i was feeling everything and the dentist went on to say to raise my hand if i felt pain and he would numb me up a little bit more, i went on to raised my hand as i was feeling everything and the nurse assisting him would just push my hand back down into my lap. I tried again and she pushed it down again. This happened a few times until i couldn’t do anything else but scream. I was so worked up and afraid because all they did was dismiss the pain i was feeling. When i screamed the dentist himself told me i needed to “calm down so he could jus do his job”. In the end I ended up just having to handle the pain and get through it until he finished. The after care was not so good either. I was told to take ibuprofen and tylenol every 3 hours but that wasn’t the problem. I was super swollen and my entire face bruised. When i went back for a follow up appointment he was taking a look at everything and he got a little frustrated with me as i could not open my mouth as wide as he was wanted, he also had seen that there was still a little piece of tooth left which he tried pulling out of my gums with tweezers without any numbing, it obviously hurt so i had tried to ask him to stop but he kept going at it and tried getting it until i finally grabbed his hand out of my mouth. After that as i was getting ready to leave i asked what else I could do to make the swelling go down because i have to go back to work he went on to say, “honestly i’m not really sure”. I’m sure this sounds like i’m just whining but this place really isn’t good and i would hate for someone else to have to experience what i did.

Short wait time. Good cleaning. Pleasant people. Extracted root. Everything good.. Asst Trainee needs a little more experience applying fluoride. It was thick and all over the place. Glued my mouth shut which would benefit anyone who didn't want to listen to an "old lady." LOL see you again 🔜

I sought out Dr Rice because he uses the LANAP procedure. He was kind and informative and respectfully referred me to a periodontal doctor he thought could serve my needs better. Now that is a genuine caring person, who won't just try to fix you for the money. And he consulted me at no charge. Thank-you Dr Rice and staff for caring!
