Today's Dentistry

received great service and had A+ consultation. They informed me of where my teeth had issues and what needs to be done. They were very professional and friendly. Helped me decide in order of priority of where to begin fixing my teeth from my broken tooth down to a small cavity. I appreciate them not pushing me, but informing me of what needs to be done and leaving the decision up to me. Great dentist visit (is there such a thing)? There is at Today's Dentisty👍

Would not recommend. I scheduled with them due to some excruciating tooth pain that came on overnight. Dr. Jensen made me feel very uncomfortable and didn't listen to any of my concerns. It felt like I was just another number in her chair. She told me that there was nothing she could do in the short-term to help me out and that she didn't think my pain was "that severe". When I had questions about the treatment plan, I was told that she was too busy to come back and everything mentioned was about the price and how soon I could pay for the work to get things fixed. After feeling off about the entire situation, I ended up going to see another dentist at a different office for a second opinion, turns out one of my teeth was visibly cracked in half and they got it fixed right away.

I have always gotten great care at Today's Dentistry and today was no exception. The office staff is always helpful and pleasant. Brittanie and Dr. Hammer are both fantastic and take great care of my teeth!

Today's Dentistry has a great environment. The staff is wonderful, they are there to help you with your needs, they go over your different options and let YOU decide what YOU want to do. Easy to get an appointment with a wide range of hours available.

So, I went there and they told me my wisdom teeth needed to come out. I let them pull one out because it costs me money. I never went back because they lied to me 4 times telling me something was covered under my insurance, I would tell them to check because I didn't think it was covered. They would come back and say yes your insurance covers that. Then a month later I would get a bill. They never checked. 4 TIMES this happened. I told them to never contact me again. They continued to send me mail, email, and call me repeatedly wanting me to make another appointment. ANNOYING! I went to a different dental office and turns out my wisdom teeth are fine and probably didn't even need to pull the one. SO this place is baaaaad news if you want honesty and to keep your teeth!

Once again, we were scheduled incorrectly. In August, I requested to schedule my son and I for consecutive/back-to-back appts with either Dr. Keller or Dr. Hammer. He’s a child, I want to be part of the discussion to know what’s going on with his teeth or be there to ask questions. I was assured we were given consecutive appts and on the schedule of either of the doctors I requested. But none of that happened. When we arrived, they took us back at the same time and saw neither of the dentists I requested.

Not to mention the billing issues. Up until I walked in in February 2021, I was still receiving a monthly bill for my previous appt in July 2020. Every month I would call and every month they would tell me they would resubmit. Insurance covered my son’s August 2020 appt just fine, but obviously something with the billing of mine was not being done correctly.

When we walked in in February 2021, I asked if my previous appt from July 2020 had been paid yet. In reply, the woman at the desk asked, “Have you called your insurance?” Why would I call?? I’m not the billing department and can’t fix any of their billing issues. I told her I would like to make sure it’s been paid before having our new exams. Less than five minutes later, same woman told me she called, everything was straightened out, and insurance would be cutting a check that day. Why wasn’t that done months ago when I asked why I was being billed for the full cost of my exam rather than billing my insurance??

I was due for panoramic x-rays. Which they took twice, but both times the new images wouldn’t pull up on the computer screen. They could only find the image from 2015. Since it wasn’t pulling up, they assured me that I wouldn’t be billed for it. However, in my exam, the 2015 x-ray was provided to the mystery doctor to use for my 2021 exam! Why would you use a 6 year old x-ray for a dental exam??

I tried really hard to like this place. Have been a patient since 2015, but the incompetence the exudes from this office is beyond acceptable. I’m done.

There for an adjustment in my night guard and a cleaning for my son. Night guard was adjusted without issue. Always enjoy Dr. Hammer.

The hygienist did a fantastic job on my son’s cleaning! However, I was disappointed that the dentist who came in at the end spent less than 5 minutes (maybe 3?) checking my son’s teeth, just to say no cavities, and didn’t discuss any possible orthodontic needs. Guess that means my son doesn’t need any orthodontics?? But what was most disappointing is that when I made this appointment, I specifically requested Dr. Keller or Dr. Hammer only and was assured that we would be with Dr. Keller, but that is not who walked in. I know both of the dentists I requested were there that day as I met with Dr. Hammer and I saw Dr. Keller walk by, so I’m not sure how we ended up on someone else’s schedule.

It’s always a pleasure walking in to Today’s Dentistry. I always work with Bobi as my hygienist and she makes my morning. She’s nice, genuine and does an exceptional job. Today I had Dr. Hammer and he was great to work with and to share conversation with! I highly recommend Today’s Dentistry to anyone looking for an enjoyable, dental experience.
