Dente Complete Dentistry

My first visit to Dente was in May 2015 for a new patient exam, complete with X-Rays and a consultation. Having been warmly greeted by Dr. Couret his dental assistants-Anita and Zanna- were all smiles during my procedure which was done quickly yet thoroughly. Dr. Couret was even pleasant as he described the intense presence of gum disease as he strongly recommended a teeth cleaning with their hygienist Abby.
For my cleaning appointment two weeks later I was expecting the friendly nature of the office to have worn off and yet I was greeted with warm -and very bright!- smiles. Having understood the trepidation often met with teeth cleaning Abby was very meticulous in the appointment, often checking to make sure that she was not applying too much pressure. I have a follow up appointment in a few weeks-let's see how good of a patient I have been!

Dr. Couret and his staff did an amazing job on my front veneers. They've been discolored since I was a child and he perfectly matched the colors and look so natural. I was nervous after a bad experience with a previous dentist and went to multiple consultations before meeting Dr. Couret. He listened to my concerns from the beginning and was very responsive to feedback throughout the process. His attention to detail really shows with my beautiful new smile! I've never been so excited about dental work!

"I love going to the dentist!" said no one ever, right? But somehow I actually feel this way about Dente and Dr. Couret & his team. I've been going there for several years now, but like many I worried about going in during a pandemic. But the need for clean won out, and I booked an appointment. Just as they promised, they're maintaining social distance among clients (I arrived and phoned them, and was brought directly into the exam space for my cleaning). Staff are masked up with proper PPE and the whole experience felt very safe. My teeth are happy, and so am I.

My recent visit was not an easy visit. I had seven teeth extracted. Dr. Emilio was very concerned and very caring. His dental assistant was so kind and caring and helped me through get through some very difficult spots. Dr. Emilio and his entire staff are gems!

I would give zero stars if I could. It's hard to believe others have given higher reviews of this place. In search of a dentist closer to home, decided to try out Dente. Unfortunately my first visit will be my last.. never have I experienced something like their first time exam. Even though I understand the need for some x-rays in the initial appointment, these several detailed pictures were painful and took over an hour with minimal explanation as to why all of that was necessary. The dental assistant was unfriendly and I felt treated as a puppet, moving my mouth around to some very uncomfortable positions for the various photos they took. But the high point of this miserable experience was the dentist Couret who (without warning) performed a pinprick gum test and let me bleed into my mouth for several minutes until I finally asked to spit. The whole experience was cold from all parties, especially the treatment from the dentist... and I would never recommend it to anyone else. It is very unfortunate when a medical practice treats you as if you're a money bag instead of a human being.

THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED & SO Happy! I finally found a dentist office and dentist that doesnt scare me to get my teeth cleaned or any procedure done. My experience was so easy, painless, enlightening, i felt educated when I left, the goodie bag was A1!!! No dentist has ever given me a Sonicare tooth brush and other fun things to help me get my teeth in tip top shape until now. I wasnt in any pain (my biggest concerns from my past and all the horror stories), the exams performed were nothing like in my past I felt like the care of not just my mouth, but everything that ties to the health of your body overall was wonderful, clean and just something I was just happy and at ease mentally. I felt like i was important and even with Covid the sanitation and disinfection methods are Top Tier! Im excited to go back and get more done to my teeth lol - Best Dentist hands down in my lifetime experience. I've already referred this dentist office to several other people in case they want to leave where they are and get with a winning team!

After two bad experiences, I've finally found the gold standard for dentist offices in Chicago. Not only is Dr. Couret an excellent, kind, trustworthy doctor, but his staff always exceeds my expectations. They remember me when I call, leave pleasant reminders and always help with scheduling and insurance questions. I recommend Dente to everyone and will continue to do so.

I was a bit nervous at first but the team was so kindhearted and made sure I was okay and at ease the entire time. They did an amazing job explaining what they came across in examining my teeth, and each step they took during my appointment. Highly recommend Dente. Thank you Dente Team!

What a great dentist! The staff are all so kind and make it super easy to come in. Dr. Courier is hilarious and does a really detailed job. The office is very high tech and I feel confident my teeth are being extremely well taken care of. Would recommend going here!
