In the past my experience at Midwest Dental was fine. No problems, staff were nice and professional. Today I went for my appointment. I confirmed online that I would be there. Followed their directions when I arrived. I was a few minutes early for the appointment. Waited over 30 minutes and after calling found out that I would not be able to be seen as another patient was coming in 20 minutes for the hygienist. I am not very happy for the time I wasted.

If they can’t get your billing correct with your insurance company and have your bills sent to collections, then why would you trust them to work on your teeth?
Highly don’t recommend. They put zero effort into completing their job.

All of our family visits Midwest Dental. We have for years. Our Sons basically have been going there since they have been in school. The Staff is so kind, caring, and very professional. The office is clean. We've had no problems making appointments. They explain all the procedures very thoroughly, and even make the experiences there for smaller children as much as possible. I remember they gave my Son a pair of sunglasses to wear one time because he thought the lights were to bright in his eyes when he was laying back in the chair getting his teeth cleaned. I would certainly recommend them without a doubt, and have to co workers of mine. They like going here as well.

I have been coming here for as long as they have had the office in Pekin Il. The same for my wife. We love our Sara who cleans our teeth. A sweetheart and does a great job and is constantly checking with you that you are o.k. The dentist i was seeing here had to quit for medical reasons and they had 2 floater dentists in. The gentleman that took care of my canine with a big cavity on the tip was efficient and the procedure painless. Never a problem with the company as far as working with Delta Dental, my insurance company. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of dental care. Both previous dentists i have had there as caregivers were great dentists . I had cavities filled and crowns. They showed me everything on the computer screen before the work so i knew they were not doing shady drill for money work like a dentist i had when i lived in another city, that was not affiliated with any company.
Since I will not get the same dentist as the last time I was in, I cannot rate a specific dentist for you but the company and the care I have received in the past is exceptional.. Wgm

Dr. Connolly is the best! I had a fair amount of anxiety going in, and he completely set my mind at ease. He is super friendly and has a very calming demeanor...very kind, patient and compassionate. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I’m new to the area. Found out about this office from a friend. Only had a cleaning and one crown done. Went this week with severe nerve pain in the tooth they put the crown on a year ago, they did x-rays barely looked at my teeth with a mirror and said my bite was off because my teeth had shifted... then proceeded to grind down the molar it was in contact with. Told me to go home and swish with warm salt water and give it 3-5 days. 😡 Called back later that same day I told them the pain was worse, they said to give it time. Tooth pain is the worst, they should’ve listened to the patient. Called a Springfield dentist that night, they got me in the next morning and diagnosed in about 5 minutes, they also did X-rays which showed the problem, that crown from a year ago was bad and A nerve was exposed. Do not recommend this office.

They provide exceptional pre & post care education. My lifelong fears and anxiety about dentistry have subsided thanks to this office. Dr. Connolly has taken some of the fear out of a dental visit-- for that I am really appreciative! He takes the time to explain what and how it's going to be done. I've got such a sensitive mouth. It's nice having someone so honest and personable... And educational.
