Guido Family Dentistry

Over the years I have had some very bad dentists, that probably should not have been in business. I was always reluctant to go to any dentist anywhere, until I went to Dr Guito. Everything changed from the first visit. They should advertise "Pain Free". Always very pleasant and professional and up to date on technology.

I will keep my review for Dr Vincent Guido very short and simple. He is THE BEST dentist in Lafayette. You will always feel at ease once you enter his clinic. All questions answered with loads of patience. Great staff and nice clinic.

I found it online and made an appointment. Dr. Guido called me the night before asking me to bring in some history since it was my first time coming in and it was for a special case. I thought that was great he called and took the time to review my case and knew what would help him.
During the visit Dr. Guido explained all the options and which ones seemed to fit and didn't try pushing anything. Dr Guido also explained the negatives and side effects so I had a complete picture.

Highly recommend for a long term dentist.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted in a very kind manner. I was asked to fill out and sign some paperwork (name, personal information and medical history) so they can treat you appropriately. I maybe sat for 2 mins before being called for my cleaning. Where I was greeted once again by the friendly lady doing th cleaning. She was extremely efficient and very kind, while offering me a few tips and complimenting me on my dental hygiene.

The dentist walked in and spoke to me for about 10-15 minutes answering all of the many questions I had. He was very kind and informative. I was really impressed with the latest technology they used and how clean the whole office was, from the entry way of the parking lot to the bathroom and throughout the office in it’s entirety. Speaking of the bathroom, not only was it clean but they had a basket full of toothbrushes and toothpastes for you to take. (For theany of us who like to brush before being seen, I’ve always had to bring my own). I even requested information on a option they offer for mild sleep apnea, which can be very useful.

I’d like to add that in all my years I have never had an experience such as the on I received. Besides that most of my dentists and hygienest had unflattering teeth. (Obviously I’m hinting at the fact everyone had clean pearly whites, which is always a good sign)

Finally I received all of this free of charge, a service they provide Veterans on Veterans Day. I’ve definitely found my new dentist.

This dude is overly happy. Nobody is actually this happy. I know why he's happy, though. It's because he's filthy rich from overcharging patients. I always had to pay- even after my insurance paid. I usually had to pay another $40 or $50 just for a cleaning! He's trigger happy, too. Always wanting to give me fillings. I got a second opinion, and was told that fillings are not necessary in the places where he was suggesting. Two places that I did let him work on are now causing me problems, too. I'm very happy that I have found a different dentist.

I have been bringing my family to Dr. Guido for over 10 years now. He and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. They are very considerate and thoughtful and feel like an extension of our family. I would recommend them to anyone!

They are very gentle, friendly, and knowledgeable. I trust that they know what they are doing. The front desk staff are very friendly too. I asked for suggestions on a new dentist, and Guido's name kept coming up. I've suggested them to other people as well.

We decided to go Vincent M Guido DDS Clinic for our invisalign treatment and the experience was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful at Dr. Vincent M Guido DDS Clinic. We never had an issue about scheduling and payments. I totally recommend this place to everyone!

I had my first visit to Guido Family Dentistry today 8/4/2015. Being a combat Veteran I must say they made me feel all that I have done for our Country was worth all that I've been through. Dr. Guido and staff are stellar. Not only professional but also personable in my care. I never thought I would be saying this. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Dr. Guido and staff for everything.
