Longtime patient of River City Dental. Their care is excellent and the staff is friendly and professional. Hard to think of a better dental experience!

Friends and family recommended River City Dental to me when I first moved to Iowa city. In 10 years I haven’t been disappointed. The staff is very friendly. The hygienist are top notch. Dr. Scott Clemons has a great rapport with the patients. Highly recommend them to anyone that needs dental care.

I had a simple dental cleaning, as I have for the last 40 odd years. The hygienist was quite pleasant and quickly ushered me into the chair. She explained it was only a cleaning and no X-rays were needed. I have a long history of a strong gag reflex and X-rays are challenging. I have gotten better over the years with the films and each hygienist has worked with me to get the best quality shots. I always appreciate how I am greeted upon entering the office and that they all seem to know my name.

I was a patient at River City Dental Care for as long as I can remember. After moving to another town, I tried out a local dentist. The staff at this local dental office told me that all of my front top and bottom teeth were mobile and that I need a periodontal treatment for my gums on my lower right side as soon as possible. This was October of last year, just 6 months after my last cleaning with River City Dental in spring of 2021. I found this strange but decided to give this new place one more shot. Sure enough, they voiced their immediate concerns to me again and pressured me to schedule and pay for these treatments. I thought it best to get a second opinion. I called River City Dental Care a few days later and they got me in their schedule right away. Dr Clemmons reassured me that my teeth and gums are perfectly healthy, none of them are mobile and no periodontal treatment would be needed. The moral of the story here is if it’s not broken, don’t fix it! I will be coming back to River City for my next cleaning and each one there after.

River City Dental never disappoints in service and professional work. Dental assistant is as professional as Dr Scott. Front desk is always helpful to file insurance for me. My confidence in this office is what I recommend to everyone looking for service and personal dental care. You will never look for another dentist!!

I have never been happier after a visit to the dentist. I felt as if all my concerns regarding my teeth and gum health were taking more seriously than with other providers. Additionally, I felt so welcomed as a new patient by the very personal staff, especially the dental assistant, Catherine.

I was in a bad car accident 10 years ago and needed quite a bit of dental work afterwards. All my original work was done in Boston by one dentist who did a great job. This year it came time to replace the filling on my cracked front tooth. I was pretty nervous about having it done by anyone but my first dentist, but I have had nothing but good experiences at River City Dental- so I decided to take the plunge.

Dr. Clemons replaced my filling quickly and painlessly. He did a great job matching the color to my teeth, and the shape looks wonderful. I am so happy with the way it turned out.

All the staff at River City Dental are consistently friendly and professional, and I would recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely love this place and Dr. Clemmons is so very professional and careful with his work. I got 2 fillings replaced and had no pain afterwards. Excellent work. Really love the front staff and hygienists!! Plus a very clean environment.

Very friendly x-ray technician. Jenny at front desk was also very friendly and helpful. Dr. D was also very helpful in meeting my needs. I had one of the best visits I have ever had at the dentists.

I get a little anxious going to the dentist now after some unresolved issues. I was thankful to find Dr. Clemens as I am on the right track now. The staff is very friendly as well.
