Altogether I had a great first-time experience at a new-to-me dental practice, which I had approached with some apprehension as I had been with my previous dentist for many years. Everyone made me feel welcome. It's a clean and attractive office, with what appears to be fairly new high-tech equipment, including a superfast all-around imaging apparatus. And best of all, their bitewing imaging equipment neither hurts your mouth NOR makes you gag, which is a HUGE improvement! I felt well-protected from rays during all x-rays/imaging, whereas in the past, I'd sometimes had to ask for protective gear. Dr. Papinsick himself did the teeth cleaning since I was a new patient, and was very thorough. I was able to view my 360-degree images on a large screen on-the-spot(!) while he explained everything I was looking at and let me know what was good (or not), something that's never been available to me at any previous dentist. Both he and John, his dental assistant, answered all my questions, and let me know what would be happening during the process, all of which seemed to be done using much newer/better tools. One tip…the parking lot and “front” entrance are around the back of the building.

Very organized clinic. The staff are very welcoming and the doctor is very good. He spends additional time trying to explain the problem and gives the appropriate treatment. Also clearly specifies which needs immediate attention and which can wait. This helps very well and can plan out based on your medical plan. Very glad we choose this Center for all our dental needs.

Great experience following this dentist clinic. I am going to this office for the last I believe 2-3 years. I admire receptionist personality Gena, she is such a kind, welcoming lady.
Dr. P do not force on you if you choose to decline any services. Dr.P will provide you education risks from not getting the work done. I had horrible experiences working with previous dentists, who force on you otherwise they starts hating you and not treat you like real human.

The office decor was very nice, it smelled good in the office, it was very clean, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The dental assistant was very professional, but I didn't feel comfortable with him not wearing a mask when he was preparing me for the x-rays and prepping me for the dentist because he was very close to me during these times, and I just thought he should have worn a mask or at least ask if I wanted him to wear one like some people in similar places do. The dentist was amazing, very professional and proficient at his job. He explained things to where I could understand them, and he wasn't rushing things. Not to mention, he smelled good too. I have always hated going to the dentist because I don't like pain and when they started making these dental offices that don't have doors to them and everybody can here what's going on, I was like, that's not gone stop me from screaming so oh well. Overall, I thought my first visit was a good one and I think I'll go back to follow up on my treatment plan.

I have been going to see Dr. Anthony for 3+ years. He is a great dentist. The front office staff (Gina) is always amazing when looking up insurance benefits. The hygienist (Lisette) is awesome too! The office has exceptional appointment reminder technology that sends SMS text or emails. They have mounted TV's that are viewable while you are in the dentist chair, and I love being able to watch TV during my visit.

Pros:
1) Very professional (namely in their response to coronavirus, which reflects how they handle general safety)
2) Friendly staff/dentist
3) Not a chain (going to count this as a pro, though I’m sure some count it as a con)
4) Good explanations
Cons:
1) Dentist’s cleaning style is about 50% harsher than I’m used to - maybe I’ve been pampered by previous dentists, but I can’t say I’m a fan of the quick & broad scouring with the metal hook tool
1b) 2021 update: they have a hygienist now
2) To be fair, this isn’t really a terrible con. But the dentist is relatively young (~35). That comes with a myriad of pros as well, but overall I figure the associated lack of experience is likely worth mentioning (since most dentists I’ve been to are 55+)

My spouse and I both love going to Kansas Dental Center. The office is meticulously cleaned between patients. All pens, chairs, patient areas are wiped down.
The office is super high tech as well. They have all of the latest tools of the dental industry which helps us feel like we are in the best hands.
We also appreciate that the staff explains everything so well and answers any questions before procedures.
This is a great dental office! The DENTIST did our cleanings…. cannot say I’ve ever had a dentist take the time to get to know us/our teeth this well before!

I have never had such great care at a dental office, and that's saying a lot. It's a small private office and you feel it with the very personable atmosphere. Gina, the receptionist was hospitable and efficient. John, the dental assistant, was very kind, caring and thorough, explained everything that was gonna happen and Dr. Anthony did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth
and explaining the status of and plan for my teeth. This is my new dental office!

Everyone is so nice and happy to see you. They make you feel very comfortable and welcome. The office is very nice and clean. The doctor has a gentle touch and explains everything he's doing. Highly recommend!
