Pratt Family Dental

I felt vary welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Dr Kunz and his assistant Brynn were vary helpful. They explained all of my options. And showed me how much they cared to make sure I was comfortable. They did an excellent job of keeping my nerves settled. I have had bad times at the dentist office. But now I feel more comfortable. If you are look for a great dentist go to Pratt Family Dental.

Sharing my experience: I asked for a crown to be reinstalled as my dentist, being ill, didn't know when he would be able to do this procedure. Everyone was very helpful and instead of waiting till Thursday I was given a chance to come but I needed to be there in minutes which wasn't possible for me, because of the distance I must travel and the time I was called. The second phone call gave me news about a cancelled appointment that gave me ample time to drive into Pratt.

The reception was very nice, many sheets of information to fill out, and a comfortable chair in the front lobby. Before I started the second page I was escorted to a room. It was a cordial visit and I learned about the person taking care of me and giving, and processing the x-rays. The dentist came very soon and he was quite convivial. The crown was glued back into place, sanding was done to make it more comfortable, and I was escorted back to the lobby to finish my paperwork. I wrote a check for my portion of the cost while the total cost was submitted to my BCBS account. Apparently, this method of payment has been done many times before and they know what to expect. Everyone was bright, cheerful, realized I needed help that day; and I was extremely grateful as the crown came off Saturday evening. (I couldn't get the work done until Tuesday.)

I moved from Lawrence to the Pratt area in 2018. Prior to my move, I had the same dentist for over 25 years. The thought of finding a new dentist was unnerving but necessary so I took a chance and made an appointment at Pratt Family Dental. I'm delighted to say that I made a great choice. Not only is Dr. Kunz a wonderful dentist, Challie is a competent, kind dental hygienist. I appreciate that the practice uses cutting edge technology to assess my dental health and define solutions for issues that need to be addressed. I'm grateful that I found Pratt Family Dental and will be a loyal customer for years to come.

Was told a consult was free of charge then I get a bill in the mail for the office call. They said it would be $6500 for the work that needed done. Well I am now going somewhere else because who knows how much more it will cost since the consult went from $0 to $70.
Went and paid my bill and the receptionist was helping and nice. I feel it was all a misunderstanding!

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Doctor answered all of my questions regarding extraction of a tooth and made me feel comfortable about the procedure. Honestly, It was the best service I’ve ever received in a dental office. I would highly recommend going there for all dental needs.

This place actually cares about their patients, I was in and out very quickly, the nurses and Dr. Hopkins were excellent. By far the best treatment at the Dentist.

It was another good visit to Pratt Family Dental. My hygienist, Chelsey Miller, paid much attention to detail and efficiently cleaned my teeth. With this dental provider I feel that my oral hygiene needs are well taken care of.

Today was my first visit to Pratt Family dental. I had several issues with my teeth, but Dr. Hopkins examined them and gave me several different options to choose from. He explained each procedure and the cost of each option. I had some work done and did not feel a thing. Great staff and very clean and comfortable, even got to watch tv while having the procedure done. Other than having my tooth problems confirmed:) It was a great dental experience.

I've had quite a bit of work done with PFD and have been very satisfied with all of my experiences with them. When I started going there, I was in pretty poor dental health. I've had a number of procedures done including root canal, dental implants, periodontal treatments, as well as routine exams. Mind you I grew up having very poor experiences at the dentist and consequently didn't go for a number of years. I would not advise that. Everyone there treats you great and I'm very thankful for their service and how they've gotten me back onto and maintained my dental health. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Hopkins and his staff are absolutely amazing! Your comfort is their priority!
