Marketplace Dentistry

I'm extremely afraid of the dentist and have been since I was a little boy. After 3 decades of hiding from my problems I came here to get some work done. Dr Sherwood and his staff are the best most relaxing people I have ever met in this industry. I still have a lot more work that needs to be done, with that being said I will continue to visit Dr Sherwood. He is the only one I will let near my mouth. Thank you!

Like most people, I've dreaded going to the Dentist. But having to change my Dentist due to a change in my insurance, I was fortunate enough to find a Dental Office worthy of a 5 star rating! First off, I liked the fact that Dr. Lyman was probably 3-5 years out of Dental College and would be adept at the latest dental procedures. He was very professional and quite knowledgeable with a office full of the latest dental equipment. On top of that, Dr. Lyman's staff was equally impressive. Courteous, kind, empathetic, and probably the cleanest office I've ever been in. If you are not happy with your current Dentist, do yourself a big favor and discover how a Dental Office should be run!

I absolutely LOVE this dentist office. As someone with several issues with my dental health the staff have been nothing but kind, compassionate, thorough, detailed, and they have explained everything to me to where I have complete trust in their process! They were fantastic with my almost 5 year old, helped with getting me seen in a timely manner and so much more!

From entering the office to leaving, my experience was pleasant and anxiety FREE. Dr. Hartline and his staff were all genuinely pleasant and made sure I understood everything that they were doing, about to do, or what their suggestions were. They were at ease and I never felt like they were in a rush to get to another patient! I highly recommend Marketplace Dentistry!!

My experiences were terrible. Though pleasant, Hartline struck me as inexperienced and a bit immature. I found the office manager to be unpleasant, and untrustworthy. It seemed they only wanted me to spend more money.

For example, the dentist prescribed my being fully sedated during a scheduled procedure. He never mentioned that to me. I found out only after I insisted that the manager explain every detail of the proposed bill. I nearly ran out of that office; never to return.

Also, call around for the costs of various procedures. I found much better prices (and people) elsewhere.

I switched to Marketplace Dentistry from another dentist office I have been going to for years. The transition over was quick and easy! They were able to work with my very difficult work schedule and got me in within a week. I have never had a dentist talk to me about my x-rays or go into depth on what machines they are using and why. The discussions made me much more comfortable about being at a new office. The staff members are super friendly and the technology is up to date. I would very much recommend this dentist office and will be going here from now on. Thank you!

I have been looking for a new dentist for a while now and gave Marketplace Dentistry a shot, I never felt more comfortable at a dental appointment. For the first time in a long time it was actually a pleasant experience! Dr. Hartline and his staff are excellent at what they do. I recommend this practice for your next dental needs!

My husband and I have been patients at Marketplace Dentistry for about 1 1/2 years. And I have always had great service. However my last experience was even more exceptional. I had been experiencing pain to what I thought was my jaw. It was determined that I needed to have my wisdom tooth removed. However the oral surgeon only visits the office once a month. The idea of waiting a month was almost as painful as what I had been experiencing. The staff in less than 24 hours worked hard to get my on the schedule, verify insurance and get me seen. Even when I arrived for the extraction they were still busy working on my case. The easy thing for them would’ve been to make me wait another month, but the compassion for my pain moved them to help me. The surgery went well. And I’m recovering nicely. I learned a great dentist office is not just determined by the dentist but the staff in the front can have just as much impact on a patient’s experience. My experience at Marketplace was outstanding! Everyone was amazing, professional and super nice. Dr. Hartline was incredible and is very knowledgeable! He explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable there! He is extremely personal and made me feel like a part of the Marketplace family! Will not be going to ANY other place for my dental needs!
