Unfortunately this was a horrible dental experience. I’m only writing this review as a warning to others to stay away.

First, my filling broke the same day it was done. The dentist rushed (I had to wait 45 min. to be seen and it was obvious that they were struggling and rushing) The dentist literally said, well that’ll have to do for now, come back if you have any trouble. I attempted to floss that evening and simply flossing broke the filling. I went back to see about getting it fixed, and they tried to blame me saying I bit down on something hard even though I told them the problem occurred when I flossed.

The second problem is scheduling. I had 3 appointments with them (cleaning, filling, and follow up), but they rescheduled me a minimum of 6 times. They ran extremely late (45 min.). The worst experience happened with my 7am appointment. I was in the parking lot at 6:58am and they called me to reschedule it to 8am saying the dentist wasn’t in yet. So frustrating when you’ve rearranged your schedule to accommodate an appointment and then they change it or are late.

There are many other people that have had bad experiences here. I hope they take the time to write a review as a warning to others.

Dr. Hartline did an amazing job! He was very thorough during my visit and he truly cares for his patients! Maria and the other staff also did a very good job and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend them any day!

I had an amazing experience at Marketplace Dentistry! The dentist (Dr. Colton Hartline) was amazingly prepared for my case (not the easiest one) and gave me great professional advice and care. The office is very clean and very modern; the staff was a pleasure to deal with. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Overall it was a great experience. Great feeling to switch and make Marketplace Dentistry my primary dental office. I will bring my family here and refer it to my friends with confidence and pleasure! Thank you again!

If you're looking for a better experience from a dentist or haven't been to the dentist in awhile this is the place to go. I avoided going to the dentist for 10 years. I always felt like I was being scolded or belittled at other dentistries. This place is great, the first thing you do when you're a new patient here is fill out a questionnaire on what dental work you are interested in. If you don't want extra things like teeth whitening they won't even bring it up so I felt like there is no upselling on procedures I didn't absolutely need. Dr. Hartline completely changed my attitude on dentist visits. He is very informative and tells you the science behind gum and teeth health in layman's terms. His demeanor comes off as him being on the same level as his patients when other dentists in my past have felt
condescending. I can tell he really cares about his patients as he seemed very upbeat about the progress I had made from my previous visit. Go see Dr. Hartline, you'll feel much better about going to the dentist.

Top of the line facility. Very clean, modern and welcoming. All of the staff were pleasant and respectful. I got a very thorough cleaning and Dr. Hartline was very patient with my many questions. He was also very accommodating and informational. I needed to have some work done and DJ did a great job explaining my dental benefits. If you are looking for comprehensive care then this should be your final stop. Check this team out!

I am writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend, Marc. First of all, this place is very unprofessional. They have cancelled his appointments countless times. We are able to count about 6 different times. I understand places get busy but you should not cancel someone’s appointment or move it every single time they have one.

Marc had to have a deep cleaning done prior to some work done on his teeth. They cancelled his appointment so many times that too much time had passed and he needed another deep cleaning. BUT.. they did not disclose that they were going to do a deep cleaning again. They did a deep cleaning before doing his fillings. They also charged him prior to his appointment before billing insurance. Then tried to charge him another $400 after his appointment for the deep cleaning which was not disclosed to him. Not to mention they had to do this deep cleaning again because THEY waited to long to work on his teeth. They cancelled his appointment prior to this one because they, “did not have time for him”. Dr. Lyman told marc he would need 2 hours to complete this so they rescheduled a specific day and time for this to be done. During his appointment, Lyman continuously left the room to help other patients who arrived after Marc. He said there was an emergency patient.. but this is a pattern. They never have time for him as a patient. Marc’s numbing went down by the time Lyman came back. They had to re-numb Marc EIGHT times and Lyman proceeded to tell Marc that 9 is the limit. After almost SEVEN hours marc was finally done… they charged him for all the work that was going to be done prior to the appointment and they still didn’t complete everything. So they charged him for work that wasn’t even done. Then they told him they couldn’t do any other work on his teeth until he paid his $400 bill for something they didn’t even disclose that they were doing. Not to mention that Marc took off a small window of work that day but had to miss an entire day of work because the dentist took 7 hours to work on him. Then Lyman kept talking about being late for his personal business outside of work hours. Which a patient should not have to feel sorry for.. considering it’s your fault that it’s taking 7 hours. If you don’t have enough time for patients then don’t over schedule patients.

Marc had a three month cleaning today and they called this morning saying that they moved his appointment to tomorrow. People have lives and you cant expect them to continuously have an unreliable dentist office who can’t keep an appointment to save their lives.

We will be contacting them about the bill and finding him a new and more professional doctor. Marc grew up in poverty in the Caribbean and could not afford dental care or insurance until this past year though his job. It’s very sad that this is first dental experience. I won’t let this poor care go unnoticed. Very very disappointing.

The staff at Marketplace Denistry are awesome! They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and well informed! Dr. Hartline ensured that I understood every aspect of my dental concerns and involved me in the care plan decision. I have found my lifetime, Wichita, dentist!
