Violated privacy by coming out to the waiting room to discuss exam finding with the parent of a 19 year old. She is an adult! The waiting room also had other patients in there who could hear everything.
Did a scaling with no numbing to help with pain. Traumatized my daughter from dentist.

As a new patient, I was really impressed by the office staff and Dr. Thompson. The office was immaculate and all equipment very hygienic. They are good and caring. I’ll definitely go back in 6 months.

I found the staff at EFD to be pleasant and professional during my initial visits. Unfortunately, the dentistry experience and level of care is another story. Prior to coming to my latest appointments at EFD, I had experienced only slight discomfort in a chipped tooth. After the recommendations of the dentist, I decided to have all work completed within a month due to other medical issues.

Several weeks later, after spending over a $2,000 worth of replaced metal fillings and crowns. I began to have severe tooth pain in the same area filled a few weeks prior. Since I had researched and found that some tooth sensitivity is common after a filling is replaced, I waited for at least a month after the procedure. Upon my return, the dentist performed a few test, and informed me that everything was normal, aside from the fact I was having pain. After much frustration, she offered to provide me with a referral to see a specialist. To my surprise, when I was handed the referral, I was charged an additional fee for my visit--- even though the problem was incurred as a result of the treatment I received from EFD.

Later the next week I visited the specialist and she confirmed my tooth was cracked as a result of the porcelain filling I received. She also said it is common for a tooth to fracture if it is too large. Not only am I upset about the amount I spent at EFD but the additional fees for the referral ($170) and now another root canal, permanent filling, and crown necessary to repair the very same tooth filled by EFD. Furthermore, my crown is loose and now causing discomfort when I eat but I'm afraid I will be charged an additional fee just to be seen for an issue caused after my permanent filling was fitted with a crown. It has been three months of receiving a crown and I continue to experience discomfort.

I am sad to say, EFD has not stood by their work and taken responsibility for the tooth pain I have incurred after treatment. I would not recommend Elizabethtown Family Dentistry at all.

The staff was a great help with replacing a denture that I broke. The process was fully explained by Dr. Howard and options for fitting were offered. As usual the whole process is going smoothly and professionally.

all they did was make my teeth hurt that didnt hurt to begin with. then they washed there hands of me cause they couldn't fix there mess. if there was an option for zero stars that's what they would get.

Never step 1 foot into this place. Even if your teeth are falling off. They're only out for your's and the insurance money. I went in for my routine 6 month dental cleaning and was told that in the span of 6 months 11 cavities had appeared. I trusted what I was told and scheduled the first 4 of the 11 so called cavity fillings. Mind you, I had ZERO pain or discomfort in my mouth, during the appointment, the doctor drilled for almost 1 hr and treated my face, mouth as if I was made of elastic causing extreme swelling and leaving me with an enormous bruise on my entire right cheek. Not only that but 6 days after the, what should've left me in tip top shape, I haven't been able to chew or tolerate anything going through the right side of my mouth and if something happens to slip through it isn't without suffering extreme pain. I sought out a second opinion, only to find out everything Elizabethtown Family Dentistry told me was a lie. Out of the 11 said cavities found, only 2 appeared to be accurate and worst of it all, 1 of the 4 molars/teeth worked on has now turned into me having to endure a root canal because of the negligence of Elizabethtown Family Dentistry Clinic. DO NOT TRUST THIS CLINIC!!
