I am utterly disappointed in my previous interaction with Dr. Robin Levy Dental office. My entire family has been a patron of this practice for years, and I will make sure each and everyone never go back there. I just moved back to Baton Rouge after 12 years and told my mom I need to get my teeth clean. She told me to just book an appt with Dr. Levy. I figured "sure why not" in March I called to schedule an appt and the next available date was a month out. So I agreed to the appt in April. Now normally every Doctor's & Dentist office will either send a reminder text or call you just to confirm and remind you about the upcoming appointment. Cleary Dr Levy's office is in the 1% that does not do this. I honestly forgot and missed the appt. So I called back to reschedule and was told I was now on the "Block List" and I can never schedule again because I missed 3 consecutive appointments. I was so confused and I asked the lady on the phone to tell me what 3 I missed. She said I missed the one from this month (which I agreed to that one) But she also said I missed one in 2006 and 2004. First off I was a child during that time and if I did missed that appointment -- it was because my parents didn't bring me. So why am I getting penalized for something I had no control over. You would think their system would "reset" after a few years. But it is fine. We will not spend another penny where we are not wanted.

I originally chose to try out this practice due to the proximity of the location and it's on my Dental Plan. I am so happy that I did! Everyone was professional, welcoming, and efficient. The wait was not long before I was seen, my teeth were cleaned, and I got to visit with the Doctor and answer any questions I may have had all under an hour! What's great too, is that the Dentist was honest with me, showed me my problem areas and had me out the door. No convincing me to get any extra procedures...and it was all covered by my insurance! Even if this practice is not on your insurance plan, I would highly recommend a visit to Levy Family Dentistry!

Best visit to the dentist I've had in years. Thorough, professional. My dental hygienist Charlene took time to review X-ray and scan results and answer my questions. Had been told by 2 other dentists I needed a crown on a tooth that wasn't bothering me. Here, I'll have the old filling replaced for much less. Very thankful for finding Dr. Levy.

Debbie is the best dental hygienist, and the office staff is always helpful in getting you an appointment at your convenience.
Dr.H Teaches
From the moment you arrive and work with Rachelle at the front desk; you are made to feel welcome. Whether you are there for a routine cleaning, or something more complicated the staff does all they can to make you feel comfortable. Although I was not a fan of Dr. Vutera when he first joined the staff (mostly because I am old and adverse to change) I have found him to be professional and friendly. He has an excellent chairside manner.
I don't know of anyone who loves going to the dentist, but if you do need one then consider Dr. Levy and her team. You will be happy you did.

I am super happy with the quality of care and attentiveness that Dr. Robin Levy-Bookman and her staff provide! I've finally found a dentist who doesn't try to make money off of me! I bring my young daughter for exams and cleanings, and she adores Mrs. Charlene and Dr. Levy-Bookman! She loves going to the dentist!

I have been to many dentists so I know the drill! I was referred to Dr. Levy via word of mouth by a colleague because I was in need of a new dentist, closer to work and home. I was having some gum sensitivity and both Erica, the dental hygienist, and Dr. Levy were concerned with getting to the root of the problem. Both were knowledgeable, helpful, and kind understanding we all have fillings. I rate them the best and think they deserve a plaque on their wall claiming them so!

I have been to several dentists, and this office is by far the most professional. My time during the weekdays are critical, and I never have to wait, AND they are quick! I can't remember the hygienists name, her name starts with a C. She is amazing. I would recommend this office even if you believe you are getting good service wherever you are currently going. No Lie, they are impressive.

I was recently recommended Levy, DeNicola & Vutera's practice by several co-workers and after visiting I was more than satisfied with my exam. Dr. Vutera and Kara both did a great job. I am a student at LSU and involved in many different organizations so my schedule changes constantly and as such, I wasn't able to get appointment until December. They took the liberty of calling me in October when they had an opening and I was able to go in a month and a 1/2 earlier than expected. Love my dentist, Dr. Steven Vutera. Love the staff!
