Hood Dental Care - Denham Springs

Staff was amazing and so compassionate. I'm happy that I went here for my second opinion for my tooth, the last dentist I went to was ready to pull out the tooth instead of trying to save it. Dr. Sandifer reassured me that pulling the tooth was the last option, not the first. And they were willing to work on my teeth at my pace, based on what I was ready for and what I can afford (and I didn't feel judged for it either).

I had the best dental experience yesterday with Dr. Alexander and Ashlynn. I was pretty nervous trying a new dentist especially since it was kind of an emergency visit. I feel like sometimes when you go to the dentist needing work they talk down to you and you feel embarrassed so I had been avoiding the dentist for a little while. Well, Ashlynn, first off was the sweetest and never made me feel bad about any of the work I needed to have done. I was with her a good 3 hours and she never changed her tone! The dental field could use more Ashlynn’s and I hope this gets her bonus points to “pull a chip” because she deserves it! ;) Dr. Alexander was just as great! Explained everything and addressed any concerns. Never made me feel uncomfortable. Seriously wish I would have gone sooner! Thank you so much for a great experience yesterday!

My initial view of the place before entering was that the outside property was very clean. Once I entered the office, it did not disappoint. The office is extremely organized and well kept. The women at the front desk were very helpful, polite, and friendly. Blair, Brianne, and Dr. Free took great care of me. Brianne is very personable, Blair did an excellent job on the cleaning, and Dr. Free followed up with a professional consult. All three right for the job. I would recommend Hood Dental in the future to anyone looking for the right dental office.

Hood Dental care is a magnificent place to go to care for your teeth. I have been going to Hood Dental for quite a while now and every visit is a wonderful visit. The staff is friendly and wonderful. Everyone there always has a smile on their face. The staff is always engaged in making a conversation with you while you get your teeth cleaned and or if you have other teeth needs. The staff is very caring about customers needs and they do their very best to make sure you are taking care of. I would highly recommend Hood Dental to anyone who is looking for a great dentist to go to.

Jacie made my experience so easy and comfortable! She explained things thoroughly to me but in an easily understood way. Also, Dr. Tatum was so professional and sweet! 10/10 recommend!!!

Kristen and Ashlynn were very helpful and friendly. Dr. Moore is an angel!! I was super nervous because of past experiences other places but they took great care of me. She talked me through every step. The procedure itself was painless and I was surprisingly not even sore after. 10/10 definitely recommend!!

I had always had a terrible anxiety when it came to dentist visits. I have been coming to Hood dental for the past 5 years. My experience here has been very unique. It's almost like coming and visiting with friends rather than a dentist visit. I feel so at ease that there is not any anxiety anymore. The staff here always finds a way to make me feel comfortable during my dental procedures. My teeth have never been in such good shape as they are now!!! I'm very happy with my new smile and always show my teeth!!! Thank You Dr. Moore and staff for helping me take care of my teeth and also for being so patient with me.

I’m a total chicken when it comes to the dentist. I have always loved Dr Hood and had went to him for several years. I needed to get emergency appointment and he was unavailable, so I was booked with Dr. Holly Cantu. She and the rest of the staff were amazing. I highly recommend her and the whole Hood dental care team. From the ladies at the front desk, to the dental assistants,to the dentist themselves, it is a fantastic team.

The staff at Hood Dental in Zachary are very friendly and welcoming. Today was my first visit and Tori was awesome. Tori took x rays and pictures of my mouth and explained everything to me. Dr. Free reviewed them with me and we made a plan to fix what was wrong. They gave me the plan with pricing so I will know what to expect. I Also had an awesome cleaning done of my teeth. Tori made me feel at ease and that was greatly appreciated.

Dr. Sandifer and Ashley always take care of me. I love chatting with both of them and the whole staff at Hood Dental is amazing. They are always on top of things and will always do what is best for you. I highly recommend Hood Dental.
