This is the best dentist I have ever been to. There is a lot of talk about the medical community on the eastern shore not being up to par, but Dr. Takas and the team at Atlantic Dental are well above the bar. You would think from how nice the office is (they have massage chairs in every exam room, you can literally have a massage while they work on you) that they are pricey, but they are super reasonable and will work with you and your insurance to optimize treatment and payment plans. If you don't have insurance tell them you are paying out of pocket and they will work with you. Go here for an emergency after calling or become a patient and setup regular appointments. I moved about 3 hours from this location, and they are so good I am considering keeping them as my dentist and just taking vacation around dental appointments, no joke. The staff were all super helpful and friendly and answered all questions and concerns, they bent over backwards sending paperwork and x-rays and referalls to specialists for extra work and insurance stuff, I am seriously humbled and honored by the impressive quality medical and dental care received at Altantic dental. They made me feel more comfortable, at home and taken care of than anyone before. Pleasd tell them I sent you and say hi to everyone for me!

This is an amazing dentist office! From the first contact with them to set up appointments the staff is polite, friendly and caring & the dentist Dr Michnick was also very friendly professional and knowledgable and took time to explain the procedures & options for my situation. My filling was done super fast and painless ! The office is clean and really beautifully designed, almost spa like to make you feel comfortable ... They even send update texts to remind/ you / confirm appointments I will be returning here for many years to come for my dental needs! I would highly recommend Atlantic Dental in West OC

For those of you who have been concerned about going to the dentist, Atlantic Dental will be a completely new experience.
The office overlooks the water and it has been designed to make patients as comfortable as going to the dentist in your own living room. The waiting room has ultra comfortable couches, and a number of electric foot messages and back messages to help you relax while waiting for your appointment.
They have a terrific staff that is genuinely concerned about their patients, treat them with respect - the way that they would want to be treated. This starts at the top with Dr. Michnick and includes the experience at reception, the very short wait time and how the staff interacts with patients during and after procedures. The exam rooms overlook the water and dental chairs provide back and neck messages to make the patient feel less anxiety and more comfortable as well. Dr. Michnick is very talented and you can see that it is important to him that each patient receives the best possible care in a comfortable environment.
Atlantic Dental makes you want to go to the dentist more often. (Well Almost)

The office itself is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a dental office. It’s incredibly comfortable and inviting (like a spa). Everyone who greets you is welcoming and sincere. Dr. Mazzei is very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I have.
As I filled out the new patient paperwork, it even included a spot to mark off that I have chronically low blood pressure (even in doctor offices this is never included). I was very impressed by the attentiveness and the office as a whole.
