Perfect Dental - Methuen

it is very unfortunate that I have to write this review; however, the supervisor at the front desk is very rude, incompetent, disrespectful and very unprofessional.
I informed the front desk each time of my appointment, that if the service is not covered under my insurance, please do not schedule me for it until it is covered by my insurance:
apparently, I have x-ray done, I was informed at the time that it was covered under my insurance, no I was send a bill, and when I call the office, the supervisor could not give me a logical explanation: and then hung up on me:

I have no complains on the any of the dental staff, I love my dentist, she is the best, but that particular front desk staff; is not a good fit for that office; My kids and I have been coming there for the past 2-3 years; and I refused to be disrespected, there is too many dental office that I can choose from, instead of being treated so rudely.
I am sorry that I have to leave this dental office, but I worked too hard, and the service I get there is not free; I am not on government assistance; so I expected to be treated with respect and professionalism:
It is a shame the your clinic lost 3 patients just because 1 person does not know how to do their job:

New patient at this facility and I had my 1st amazing experience. They are SO professional, kind and informative. Step by step through out the whole process from entering until leaving! Who say's I can’t wait to go to the dentist for my next appointment??? This girl… I know corny but seriously, so grateful for the referral :)

A wonderful crew! Courteous as well as warm and upbeat. They all helped me get clear on the implant treatment plan, boy was I uninformed!

I am a dentist “hater” I just don’t like the dentist!! I have always had very sensitive teeth and was never that worried about my teeth. I know now at 46 I should have gone to the dentist more!! But anyhow, I have been to perfect dental a few times in the past few years because I only go when I have tooth pain, but todays experience made me much more comfortable to go back and take better care of my teeth. From the front desk to the dental assistant to the dentist, they made me feel comfortable. So thank you!

I read many reviews on this place prior to making an appointment so felt comfortable with my choice based on the number of excellent reviews. Unfortunately my experience was the polar opposite of many of the reviews posted here. First, I will start with the fact that I genuinely love going to the dentist. I have never had a cavity, generally have no complaints and oddly enjoy having my teeth cleaned. I have been going to the same dentist for 15 years but unfortunately I needed to change practices as he is in NYC. The visit to this office was my first and last visit. I arrived to my appointment early, filled out the necessary paperwork, and then waited in the waiting room for more than 40 minutes. I was taken into an exam room (which is odd since it’s all open concept), and proceeded to wait another 30-40 minutes before being seen by the dentist. He asked the point of my visit, I said routine cleaning, to which he looked perplexed. He offered X-rays, I declined, which seemed to irritate him. Then the cleaning started. I have never in my life had a painful or uncomfortable cleaning. This cleaning left me sore for nearly 2 weeks. He had an assistant hold my mouth open while he used a water pick to clean, soaking my face and clothes. I jumped in the chair a number of times because of pain or discomfort. When he finished I had been at the office for nearly 2.5 hours (for a routine cleaning!). When I walked out I was forced to sign a document saying I declined services (the X-rays). In my last experience, X-rays have always been my choice as there is a cost associated with them. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I would steer clear of this place.

First time going there! It was amazing. I had a terrible dental experience at another place and I was scared of coming in. But perfect dental are very professional and caring. They treat patients with respect.

Great customer service, everything was excellent. Very friendly and respectful dentist office.

Was told prior to my making my appointment they took my insurance then when I got there for my appointment they said it’s not in network so it would not be covered!
A waste of my time and money since all they did was look in my mouth, take an X-ray and tell me I have a hole in my tooth which I already knew.
Then tell me I need to go somewhere else to see an endontist
Medications never got called in.
I had to call back two more times before they called them in a week later!

I had been looking for another dentist because my old dentist no longer takes my insurance. Very happy with my appointment at Perfect Dental. Dr. Kong explained everything in detail and was very patient with me. Will be going back for more treatment.

Made an appointment because I was in pain. When being seen, the dentist told me she didn’t know that was the reason for my visit. Then said she couldn’t do much because she had to go but offered to do a cleaning. Yeah F that place. Staff was nice though
