DeRose Family Dentistry is the first practice that has not only understood my apprehension but, they work hard to help me feel more relaxed and at ease. Doctor DeRose is several notches above fantastic. He is amazing really. His calm and confident demeanor is another outstanding characteristic share by his entire staff.

We have been going to DeRose for several years and everyone is exceptional, from Joseph DeRose, Kathy (I'm guessing she is the office manager) and the entire team (who are super nice). They take time to make sure I'm comfortable and pain free thru any procedure as well as keep me informed (after the procedures) including the followup billing and insurance) . Now don';t get me wrong if I could avoid the Dentist I will - but these folks make it about as good of an experience that going to the Dentist can be.

Let me start by saying I do not like the dentist. When I first went to Dr. DeRose it was for an emergency tooth issue. A friend told me about how great he was for someone with a dentist phobia. I called and they immediately got me in. His staff, from the moment you walk in, are inviting and help you feel comfortable. The receptionist told me a story of someone she knew who was just as nervous as me, told me to let the doctor know how I was feeling. He would have options to help me feel comfortable. Once I was "the chair" is was literally shaking from past fears. Dr. DeRose was so understanding and his dental assistant was so kind. They took their time even though they had to squeeze me into the schedule. They talked me through everything. I have since been back for my regular visits and each time I am more and more comfortable. From the lovely receptionist to the dental assistants and even the big bad dentist it is the best experience, well, the best experience you can have at a dentist office. They will treat you like family from the first call. Highly recommend!
