Bartoszewicz Family Dental

Dr. Barts office is always so nice and understanding. They have the best dentists in Michigan. I used to be scared to go to the dentist, now I look forward to it thanks to his office. Highly recommend for children as well. They are great with kids and adults.

My family have been patients of Bartoscewicz Family Dental for 20 years. I am in my late 60s and without question or hesitation - it has been the best experience of my life with any dental practice. The are highly skilled and the most friendly people, including office staff, hygienists, and both Dr. Bartoscewicz and Dr. Jankowski!

Staff is friendly and they are flexible with appointment times. My husband had a minor dental emergency and they were able to get him in quickly and fixed the issue.

I want to love this dentist office so much partly because my husband has had great experiences here.

Let me start by saying, they are extremely nice and the customer service is great. My wait is never more than 3-5 minutes from my appointment time so they are timely.

The challenge I’ve had is in the care received. An initial 2 appointment procedure is now becoming 4 appointments.

I went in for a slight pain in my back tooth, was told I had a crack in the tooth by Dr. J. He recommended a crown and a filling in the tooth in front of it. I came back in for the follow up appointment to get the crown and Dr. B didn’t necessarily recommend it. He mentioned that it was something I could watch as long as I didn’t have any pain but the crown wasn’t a bad idea to avoid the possibility of a root canal in the future.

My insurance covered it so I went with it to be proactive. They put the temporary crown on and that same night it came right out. This caused me to have to go back in the next day for them to create a new temporary because that one was too thin.

A month later, I go in for my permanent crown and the assistant (I hope that’s the right term) puts it in for fitting and tells me to bite down normal (I do) and it cracks. Apparently my top tooth needs to be shaved down.

She assures me it’s not my fault, apparently the company that made it had fit it for the tooth already being shaved or whatever. Anywho, I had to be numbed again, Dr. J shaved down the top tooth and made some adjustments to the bottom tooth as well. They fit me for another temporary which now means I have to come back in a month again for the permanent.

Although this is not my fault, in a way I was felt to make it feel like it was. The assistant mentioned it wasn’t but Dr. J kept saying you bite really hard in the back when his instructions are “bite normal” or “bite hard.” I do exactly what he says.

I’m hoping my follow up appointment goes a bit better so I can leave a better review, but right now this is where I’m at. It hasn’t been my favorite experience.

I was very late, which is likely never good for the Teams staffing (and personal) schedule.
However, both Dr J and Maija were amazingly polite, very accommodating and thorough, as always….despite my tardiness.

Great staff- clerical and hygienist’s- super friendly and professional! Dr. B is so kind and gentle- excellent dentist! . I don’t know Dr. Jankowski as well- but he seems to be a great fit in this office. I am in the health industry and I’ve never been in an office as overall as excellent as this office! I’m glad my friend recommended them years ago!!

I have been going to Bartoszewicz Family Dental for several years now, and have always had a pleasant experience. Every person on staff is SO friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, so the appointments usually go by easy and quick. Considering I only see them 1-2 times a year, they truly make you feel cared for and like a part of their family, too!

They care a great deal for their patients here, and always provide the best treatments and advice one could possibly recieve.

I've had very positive experiences there in the past, but the last few years have left me looking elsewhere for service. Knowledgable hygienists, but admin staff is lacking. I just paid $75 for a missed appointment. The third in a string of appointments missed because their admin staff is apparently unable of sending reminders no matter how many times you request them. Not to mention the last time I was actually able to make a cleaning/examination appointment, I was notified on my way back to the chair that the dentist "Isn't in the office to do the examination, but I can just clean you and we can get you back in for the examination part." Don't worry, I was charged full price for the services rendered. This review can't go lower than three stars because the dentists and hygienists are great.....if you get to see them.

The Bartoszewicz staff is wonderful! Dr B and Dr J are the best!
