The first few appointments went great but our last experience was awful. They said because my daughter wouldn’t cooperate (just at this appointment) they would not see her again. I would think a pediatric dentist would be a little more accommodating and understanding. Her last appointment they had us pay for gas and wouldn’t give us a refund on it even though they didn’t do any work.

EDIT TO ADD: Today my insurance company has filed a grievance against them. They continue to hold my $2000 even though the insurance has told them that they have paid in full.. One month later and they are still claiming to have never recieved either of the 2 checks that insurance has sent them.

The doctor was absolutely amazing and that's why they received 2 Stars.. The billing department and office is terrible. I was quoted in February that my son's surgery would cost $1000 out of pocket that I would have to pay up front once he moved up the wait list. This was fine with me. End of May rolls around so I call to see where he's at on the list.. I'm told "oh wow I planned on calling you today to book an appointment for his surgery. And by the way you'll have to pay the $2000 before we can get you on the schedule." So I ask "how did it jump from $1000, which is what my insurance quoted for me to pay, to now $2000?" I was told they "have had issues collecting payments after the surgeries so need to collect at least double what my insurance is quoting to ensure it's paid for." That should've been my sign that all they care about is money. I paid the bill not even a week later. Finally get a call two weeks after that, and schedule my son's surgery for the end of June. An entire month after making my $2000 payment. The day prior to the surgery I ended up switching dental insurances to someone who actually covered the entire bill. My son had surgery June 23rd. My dental insurances sent them checks on July 11th. They're claiming they still have not received a payment for my son's services as we're moving into August now and cannot issue me a refund on my money until they do. Now they ignore any message I send or tell me "Lisa" is not in. All this office cares about is the money and I will be calling whoever I can to inform them that they have now taken both a payment from myself and BOTH of my insurances, the old one, and the new one.. and that they refuse to refund me the money that I overpaid for this that I was told from the very beginning would be refunded once insurance paid their portion. It's sad, because the dentist is absolutely delightful, but her office has the poorest customer service I've seen in a doctor's office, they could care less about the patients or their families. Would not reccomend!!!

We have visited the office during this uncertain times and following procedures and putting everyone’s health as a priority says a lot. Requiring face masks, especially in medical settings is reasonable and expected.

Having a pediatrics dentist is an asset to our community. Dr. K is thorough with the service she provides. Her office and clinical staff are friendly, which helps ease the visits for kids (and adults). These positive assets outweighs the face mask requirement and it certainly does not diminish their quality of service.

We started seeing Dr. K after we were advised our 9 year old needed a root canal and wanted a second opinion and by one who specializes in pediatric dentistry. We did not need a root canal and my 9 year old loves Dr. K. She does an excellent job educating about dental health and is fun with the kids. We are fortunate to have a pediatric dentist in our small town! Northwoods Pediatric Dentistry goes beyond in service! I’m always greeted pleasantly, I always receive multiple appointment reminders and calls, and as a busy mom I appreciate that! Their Covid plans have also been top notch. They have air purifiers running in the waiting room and all staff wears masks. When they were limiting the amount of people in the office I knew my child was in good hands and I did not have one worry waiting in my car while he went inside for the appointment.

I am extremely grateful to have Dr. Saigh as my personal dentist.
He has been very patient, understanding, is extremely thorough and takes whatever time needed to research and treat any issues and care I need to take care of and save my teeth. Years ago when I retired to the UP, it took me almost a year to select him over 3 other dental clinics in the area. I recommend Northwoods over anybody else. Rob

Unfortunately I was asked to leave the building while my minor child be seen alone inside without me because I didn't have a mask. I have asthma which prevents me from wearing a mask safely. I would give zero stars if I could since I am able to visit many other establishments without a mask during these times without any issue.

It a very good dentist my kids loves going there I would give it a 5 but right know I can not because I can not wait in the waiting room with out a mask I can not handle a mask on my face I will freak out so I have to send my 6 year old in the dentist office all by her self. I do not like that at all. I am really thinking about looking for a new place to go.

Was late for my appt and they wouldn't take my 3 yr old in OR reschedule even though I showed up 15 min late. And they called literally 5 min before I walked thru the door for the appt to see if I was running late. So if I had answered the phone they would have taken him in????? Girls at desk were rude and yes I swore seeing as how I drove an hour to get my little guy there.

I LOVE this office for myself and my children. The doctors are great and so are all of the office ladies and nurses. I have never felt more comfortable at a dentist office!
