Comfort Family Dentistry of Zeeland

I've been going to Comfort Family Dentistry going on 6 years, I've had crown work, wisdom teeth removed, and routine cleanings. The staff here do a great job and are always friendly and professional. They do their best to not keep you waiting and respect your time. I highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to come here. Thanks for the recent cleaning, Emily, you did a great job!

Always a great experience here. The dental hygienists, assistants, dentists, and front desk staff are all very friendly, professional and really are committed to comfort. I’ve always disliked going to the dentist, but they make it as painless and stress free as possible. Would recommend highly.

I have let negative experiences discourage me from finding a new dentist. I needed immediate help for tooth pain and Comfort Family Dentistry fit me (not a patient) in immediately. I was so pleased with the experience that I decided to become a patient. I had my first appointment today. My past experiences with dental hygienists and dentists have been degrading and I felt like I was being scammed. Quite the opposite today! The interactions were positive and encouraging. They also set up a great plan that actually considered that I don’t have unlimited extra funds.
Today was the first time that I ever left the dentist office with a smile on my face.

This is the best dentist office that I have ever been too. I have ptsd when I come into the dentist from being a kid, and they help me feel safe. They do not rush me and took the time to understand me. Dr. Carbrera and his team are amazing! I have had quite a few people from the team and they have all been amazing. But a special shout out too Lisa and Ezekiel.

Comfort Family is simply the best. Had a cracked tooth, came in for a visit to get it looked at, and they were able to do the complete crown on the spot, with only a follow up visit for the permanent. Fantastic and caring service!

I understand that most people don't care for the dentist .....I used to be one of those people. I can honestly say that I love going to this dentist office! From the beautiful smiles that great you in the lobby, to the fun hygienists, to the funny and enthusiastic doctors, they are all amazing! Check out the Zeeland and the Kentwood offices. Both are amazing!!!!

As a person who struggles with feelings of anxiety in general, and especially when visiting a dental office, I am very happy that I discovered this practice. I already have a mouth full of restorations, so I'm no stranger to the dental chair, but life circumstances kept me from visiting a dental office for nearly 9 years. I take excellent care of my teeth, but there is only so much that you can do with a good toothbrush, floss and fluoride at home. A few weeks ago, a tooth with an old amalgam filling began to really bother me and I knew it was time to be seen. I worried a lot that my negligence in seeking dental care for so long would mean I had a mouth full of problems and that I would be unfairly judged or criticized for this. I am happy to report that I could not have been more wrong!

My first visit was Monday where I had some x-rays and an exam. I was greeted by the reception staff warmly in a clean, comfortable waiting area. My appointment time was honored and I was not kept waiting. Dianne was the dental assistant that got me settled. She was compassionate and her care focused on helping discern what I needed to feel safe during my visit as someone who struggles with anxiety and PTSD. She was gentle and reassuring which I greatly appreciated. I met with Dr. Getz who was equally as compassionate and caring. He was professional, courteous and respectful. He went over the findings of my exam in terms that I could easily understand. He discussed and proposed an initial treatment plan which felt conservative and comfortable.

At the end of my visit, my check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. I was able to schedule a cleaning for two days later instead of having to wait until March because there had been a cancellation. While I was feeling courageous, I went for it.

My cleaning and a more thorough exam was on Wednesday. I was again greeted warmly by reception staff and the waiting room was clean and warm. My appointment time was honored and I did not have to wait very long at all. Amy was my dental hygienist, and she met with the same level of respect, compassion and willingness to meet me where I needed it to feel safe during my visit. There was no judgment at all. Her care was gentle but thorough.

I met with Dr. Cabrera following my cleaning with Amy. He had already consulted with Dr. Getz about my treatment plan from Monday. His care was professional, courteous and respectful. I was given ample time to ask questions. I felt seen and heard which I really appreciated.

Overall satisfaction after two visits is very high. I have a major restoration appointment in January, but have no reservations at all about this. I'm very pleased to have found a new dental home. Thank you!

Diane and Dr Toth were nothing short of amazing with everything. Clear and to the point. Tammi and Sarah at the front desk are all stars aswell. Fully recommend if you're in search of a wonderful dental experience

“Comfort” is not just a cute name for this business. Everyone I have had touched my mouth had not only a light hand, but my overall comfort as a top priority. Love these guys!!!
