Apple Valley Family Dentistry

I have been coming to Apple Valley Family Dentistry since I was kid and now bring my own children here. The office staff are always welcoming and accommodating especially when trying to make appointments for busy schedules. The dental hygienists are all knowledgeable and super nice when doing the cleanings and working with you. The dentists are all great too! They also do a great job of explaining what they see and what the next steps are if you need any additional work. They also make sure that you are comfortable when you’re in the chair. Going to the dentist isn’t what some people would call fun, but I honestly don’t mind going because everyone is so friendly and you can tell they care about your health. I would highly recommend bringing your family to Apple Valley Family Dentistry!

I just had a crown replaced by Dr. Proeschel. The entire process was very smooth. The office staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They clearly care about and value their clients, which is a rare find these days.

If you haven't gone to the dentist for a while, this is definitely the place to go! I was so scared walking in for various reasons, one of the reasons being that I was terrified I would be judged by the staff I hadn't been to a dentist in years. However, EVERYONE here is incredibly kind! I was given encouragement from all staff, was being explained what was going on throughout the entire process, and was pleased by how quickly the treatment went!!! I don't usually leave reviews, but this place far exceeded my expectations! Thank you for the wonderful experience! :)

I’d like to share my recent experience with this office. When I first started going here everyone was great until recently. I have been getting routine cleanings and also have been debating getting an implant. Because this is such a major procedure scheduling and keeping the appointment has not been ideal. The office I must admit has been accommodating thus far until recently when I was about to go in for the final appointment. We had discussed cost and coverage and made sure all parties were aligned. I went over the final numbers with my wife and she asked if I had gotten a second opinion/quote just to make sure there would be no cost savings else where since I would be funding this whole procedure out of pocket. I let the office know and they seem to understand and let me know there would be a cancellation fee since I was so close to the appointment which I let them know that I understood. Kelly the representative said she would talk to the doctor and let me know what that fee would be and would get back to me later. A few hours later I spoke with Kelly and could not believe what they were charging me a total cancellation fee of $260.00 dollars. When I asked what was included in this fee she began to tell me well you are paying for the implant we ordered for you as well as the time and service we spent on you. My response was ok well if I’m paying for the implant which I’ve paid right when I hung up the phone on them because it seems all they care about is money. I stated since I’m paying for the implant already I would like to keep it. Kelly then proceeded to tell me sorry but that’s not possible because we are returning the implant to get a credit our money back. In my mind I was blown away, I thought to myself ok so I’m paying for an implant but I can’t have it because you are returning it to get your money back. Seems unprofessional and bad practice to me and the intent seemed like they are more concerned with money then the actually well being of their patients. I thought I had finally found an office I could stay with so to any new patients be weary and don’t be fooled. Cause wow could I have felt more worthless and belittled.

I love Apple Valley Family Dentistry! After having unpleasant dentistry services elsewhere, I came to Apple Valley Family Dentistry and they are just what I was looking for! They are kind and gentle and understanding of my anxiety about dental work. They always accommodate and are easy to get into. The staff is friendly and efficient. I've enjoyed every hygienist I've seen and Dr. Proeschel is the best.

I have been very pleased with Apple Valley Family Dentistry. Everyone is so kind, compassionate and good at what they do. I can’t even pick one hygienist because they are all so great! The dentists are realistic about the work you need and make you feel comfortable. They have even stayed late when I had an emergency and needed work done ASAP. Definitely a 5 star business!
