Apollo Dental

Have had multiple experiences now where tooth infections needed extractions and the referrals were never sent out or I had to keep calling to make sure they were. Good for cleanings, bad for triage, business practice, patient and health literacy communication.

My child has been going there for 11-12 years. Their accountant is very rude. Their policy of getting paid is very outdated and they don't care anything about your situation. We are switching to somewhere else after all these years. Retraining staff is paramount. There are like 2 front desk receptionists that are very nice. Not enough to stay here.

I was using their services for five years and everything was fair until my tooth pain became severe and I needed emergency care. But first I was seen a month ago for a pain in that tooth and my regular dentist told me to just use a paste for a sensitive tooth. I cannot believe that X-ray did not show anything. Then, a month later, pain was so severe that I called in the morning and they got me in the same day. It was not my dentist but a younger junior dentist telling me that opening the tooth to relieve that pressure will not lead to any improvements for 2-3 days. So I choose not to open the tooth and instead had antibiotics only. Next day, it was Thanksgiving day, my pain was so severe that I called another dentist to open up the tooth. At Apollo they made it sound very complicated to open the office on Saturday after Thanksgiving. As soon as the new dentist opened the tooth (and as it was numbed), the pain went away. So the junior dentist was wrong, or she just felt she was not up to task. Anyway, I ended up doing a root canal a few days later. To conclude: Apollo dental is a big franchise, and many different skills dentists can be assigned to you. It is better to find a medium size dental clinic where they know you well and where you know them. I believe that a smaller dental clinics choose more carefully who works there.

I love the doctor and Dental assistant who helped clean and fix my children cavities they are very friendly and made the experience so easy and fast for us thank you so much for helping my son who was anxious I appreciate it all that you have done to make it a great experience

My family and I had an appointment with Apollo at 1:20 &1:30 they told us that they would not see us at all when we can in at 1:40 and made it very difficult to reschedule. We have been going to Apollo for 12 years. The staff were also very rude and unhelpful the receptionist was rude and snarky at us for being only 10 min late. All and all we will never go back there again.

I called to make an appointment and asked if they took UCare. The receptionist asked if I was a senior, I said, "no I am an adult." She then informed me they only take appointments for seniors and kids seventeen and younger. This is age discrimination. If you have insurance they take they cannot deny you service. I was baffled and felt incredibly disrespected.

For your own sake, avoid going here. Extremely rude staff/secretaries. Told me I had a ton of cavities, so I got fillings. Went back 6 months later and they said I had more. At that point I decided to get a second and third opinion and they both said I didn't have any cavities! I'm never going back.

Just had an amazing experience at Apollo. The pediatric dentist went above and beyond making not only my 4 year old comfortable but also myself. We came and got done what was needed.

It has been very difficult to make an appointment. The PR staff and representatives are not kind and sympathetic. It appeared they liked that I was going to receive my care in other institution.
