Key Dental Group

I decided to try Key Dental after searching Google for a dentist for a few months. Thanks to all of the reviewers who took the time to rate this dental office.

Yesterday was the day of my initial appointment/general cleaning. Upon entering the office, Madison (the receptionist) warmly greeted me and asked for my name. After realizing that I was a new patient, she told me how excited they were that I chose Key Dental. As I filled out paperwork, Madison walked over to the comfy, modern couch I was sitting on and handed me a gift bag. She explained that the doctors wanted to give me a gift to show their appreciation for choosing them. The gift was a nice tumbler - perfect to either carry along to my gym workouts or carry in the car on a long drive. This dental office has realized the power that an initial encounter has on a person. I definitely felt appreciated as soon as I walked in.

Cimberly cleaned my teeth and took care of me in the back. She was no less outstanding! Cimberly explained every single thing she did to my mouth. She also thoroughly explained the xrays and photos. I have never learned so much information in a single dental visit! She explained things I always wondered about. She also didn't sugarcoat a thing! She was very blatant as she talked about my problem areas and what needs to be done to fix them. I love Cimberly already!

Dr. Christina McRae is my dentist. She is definitely the youngest dentist I have ever had, and she is a breath of fresh air. She doesn't come off as a haughty know-it-all with the assistants and hygienists as I have sadly seen more times than I can count. She is also warm and welcoming, always explaining things in detail. Overall, I left feeling that Cimberly and Dr. McRae care as much about my teeth as I do. I have only felt this way with one other dentist - my high school dentist (Dr. Karen Bryant-Luckett in McComb).

After my cleaning, Cimberly took me to one of the financial assistants to explain my plan of care and what my insurance would cover. I saw one negative review here that read that payment arrangements are not accepted. However, I didn't find this to be true. If you need a procedure done and need time to pay, ask that you can set up enough payment arrangements before the actual appointment. I don't see how paying beforehand would be an issue. If you need 3 months to pay, plan the procedure for 3 months later and pay for it during those 3 months. Everyone loves getting paid beforehand, right?

Overall, my appointment was GREAT! If you are African American and are feeling a little uneasy choosing this practice, because it's in Madison and there are not any black dentists (or whatever your reasoning is lol), don't worry! They are great so far, and I expect nothing less in the future!🖤

The only bad thing about Key Dental, if you can call it that, is that I feel like they try to cross-sell minor add-ons every time I am there. Other than that, they are very friendly and professional. They do an excellent job. And I am treated very well at every visit.

The staff was so kind and made a stressful process feel almost soothing! Dr. McRae and her assistants were incredibly informative, honest, and helped calm my dental-visit anxiety! Definitely sticking with them!

When I first visited the office, it was simply amazing. I scheduled an appointment in August to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I rescheduled it for this week, and I made it all the way to the office for them to tell me they couldn't do it today because I ate something after midnight. Nobody informed me about the do's and don'ts prior to the operation. It was a lack of communication.

Update: I rescheduled my appointment for today and everything that went wrong last time went absolutely right this time around. I was very pleased and I will be visiting them again!!!

I used to be terrified of the dentist due to a bad experience from my high school days but Key Dental Group has been turning that fear around. My hygienist Brooke is always incredibly welcoming, friendly and just all around AMAZING. Thanks to her and the amazing doctors, now I'm only slightly less afraid of the dentist than spiders. I can't recommend them enough (and I do to everyone).

I really can not say enough wonderful things about my visit! The staff was amazing. Everyone was kind, caring and compassionate. I dread going to the dentist, but this was different than any other experience. I'd highly recommend Dr. Murphy and his office to anyone!!!

How many people say they want to go to the dentist? I do after going to Key Dental!! If you want to feel comfortable at a dental office visit Key they just know how to make you feel comfortable!!

From the time you enter the dental office, you are welcomed and made to feel that they are there to help you. I felt relaxed and the dentist and his assistant made me feel confident that I had chosen the right place. I will definitely recommend the Key Dental Group to family and friends. It helps if you have dental insurance.

I am very pleased with Key Dental Group they are very professional, when you return for your second visit the employees no you by name. I had an awesome experience there and would recommend my family and friends.

KDG has a very friendly, professional staff with state of the art facilities. They explained everything to me laymen's terms and professionally discussed my options to address my dental issues. Also, I received a gift for being a new client! I would highly recommend them to everyone.
