As of April 2023, I've lowered my overall review to 3 stars.

In December, I experienced the most comprehensive initial dental consultation ever. First appointment, 1/4/23, to cap 2 teeth (were mostly old fillings anyway) that were cracked. Very easy process, Dr. and staff very professional, attentive and kind. Office equipped with 3-D technology to produce caps on-site. Two days later, perfect fit, all good.

JANUARY CHARGES: I paid my portion of charges on the day of service. I've monitored my insurance provider on-line to check claim status. I called the dentist office several times to ask why claims were submitted. "Thanks, no, they didn't need my help." By March 15, my next appointment, NO claims were successfully filed.

On date of appointment, dental services were excelled. Upon exiting, I stopped at the front desk to pay my portion of the March charges.

I asked what I owed and was told I could go ahead and pay the entire amount. I said no, the insurance had not yet paid. I asked for a statement, she said she could not provided. Then she made the mistake of showing me that Delta Dental had rejected a claim form plainly stating the subscriber information was incorrect. Nothing was denied. She told me she was trying to help me get this "worked out" and I said "no, I'm trying to help you get this claim accepted".

Still standing in the lobby, I call Delta Dental and put their Rep on speaker phone, who stated the claim needed to be submitted with corrected information. I thanked her and hung up.

Continuing with the office lady was not much fun so I asked to speak to the Office Manager (there isn't one) and then to speak to Dr. Etheridge. She informed me that he does not deal with people at the counter (or some such). I waved goodbye and walked out. About a week later, I mailed a letter to the dentist. I never heard from him, no text, call or email. I am continuing to monitor the claim status on-line so at some point I can pay any outstanding balance I owe.
