*This review is only based on my experience scheduling, not with the dentist himself as I haven't seen him.*
A while ago, I called to schedule an appointment for a general cleaning. They were not able to get me on the schedule for nearly 3 weeks out. This was not a huge issue, but a bit annoying.
I ended up having a work conflict and needed to cancel my appointment. I called today, 6 days in advance of the scheduled appointment, and was told that I could not immediately reschedule since they had to "let others have a chance to call and get that spot". It seemed like the person on the phone was trying to punish me for canceling. She told me I had to wait 24hrs to call back and reschedule a new appointment since they had "reserved this spot especially for [me] and now you're canceling". This seems like a really silly policy since I gave nearly a week's notice and have never cancelled before.
I will not be calling again and would never choose to be a patient here again.

Dr.DuVall and his staff are great! Today he pull my daughter tooth with no problem. He pull my baby teeth(pieces) out couple weeks ago with no problems. Been wanting them out for a long time and he is the only one who could see them and get them out. No other dentist could remove them or see them on the x-ray. Thanks Dr. DuVall!

I like this place! Everyone was very professional from the front desk to the assistant. I liked that they had Covid-19 precautions. I got in and out fast service and Dr Duvall was great he’s very knowledgeable! I definitely will be back in 6 months for my next check up!

Dr Duvall is great. But the staff is awful, the front desk workers are rude and incompetent. I’m pretty sure they know nothing about dentistry and it shows. Rescheduling is hard because they’re very busy. But all in all, mid city needs to reevaluate their front desk staff and maybe give them a mini orientation.

I Had to have dental work done by order of my family doctor. I contacted Dr. Duvall. And they got me in fast. I had not seen a dentist in over 40 years. Last time was when I was in the military. I had a high fear of dentist was dreading the visit. But I had lost some teeth from cancer treatments and was having a hard time chewing my food. I thought for sure they would suggest to pull them all and get false teeth. I had chips on my front teeth and has lost several teeth from my radiation treatments. . This is the best staff I have ever had the pleasure to work with. starting at the front desk. and working my way through all his staff.. They fixed the chips on my front teeth that now look great. and decided to give me a bridge so that I can keep most of my natural teeth, I highly rate this Doctor and his staff. They took away all my fear of a Dentist. as well has made me feel good at my chipped teeth, I have upcoming follow up's that I have no fear to go to. Thank you Dr Byron Duvall. and your amazing staff

I really like how straight forward Dr. Duvall and his assistants are. This is a great dentist if you like dentistry before al the bells and whistles and flashy objects got in the way. You get your own room and they do a cleaning and exam on the same day! this is great so that you dont have to keep coming back over and over

Dr. Duvall is an excellent dentist and compassionate human being, but his front office staff and billing clerk Darlene are the most incompetent group of people that I have ever had to deal with. They submit shoddy paperwork to the insurance (through mail!) with incorrect information resulting in weeks of delay. The lack of professionalism when answering the phone and calling people back is appalling and sad. I get that you want to give people jobs but give them the training they need too, so you can all be successful. Ignorance is not bliss!
