The Hills Dental Care

I had an excellent experience at The Hills Dental Care! I had not been to see a dentist in several years and was dreading going. From the front desk to the doctor it was a seamless, positive, and professional experience! They made me feel comfortable and relaxed and were extremely thorough in my checkup and teeth cleaning. Highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a new dental care home!

Unprofessional. Inconsiderate to patients needs. Contributions to global warming and landfill over flow with the flyers they mail, not all insurance provider coverage accepted.
This service is unacceptable in a civilized society.
Good luck to anyone that has to pay for this experience.

As soon as I walked in I was welcomed in. The staff members are very kind, they answered all of my questions. I am so impressed with their level of professionalism. They made me feel comfortable and I learned a lot about my teeth during my first visit. The dentist and her assistant provided me with an extensive dental plan to get my teeth back in good health. I am very impressed. I will be back!

I cannot recommend going to this dentist whatsoever. Besides the usual upsales I've grown accustomed to in the US healthcare system, I was double charged for a cleaning unexpectedly forcing me to pay out of pocket for what would have been my second covered cleaning. I was told following a deep cleaning that I needed to come back for a follow up after a months time to receive the usual polishing because polishing directly following a deep cleaning would result in the polish being forced deep into the gums. I asked if there would be any charges above insurance associated with the follow up visit and was told no. Unbeknownst to me, this follow up was billed as an entire second cleaning. Does the ADA even recommend or approve of back to back full cleanings within a months timespan? For the record, I have never needed anymore than a regular cleaning twice a year my whole life and I have zero cavities. My "regular" appointment 6 month later forced me to pay in full out of pocket. This appointment was made in the context of a standard preventative cleaning 6 months following the first and the idea that I would be charged for a 3rd cleaning for this was not communicated prior to the cleaning. I now have had to file a claim with my insurance company on this issue to see what they can do. Either my first appointment did not cover the full scope of the cleaning, or my follow up appointment was erroneously billed as a full cleaning. Regardless, I won't ever go back to The Hills Dental Group again. Their practices are too shady for me to risk my dental health on.

Very clean, very friendly staff.
Only drawback was the water vacuum. It seemed a little strong, bruising my lips. I've been there several times before and it didn't seem to be a problem then. Perhaps a different machine.

All very professional and kind. Always on time, very professional. Gave me a referral for pedicure 3 doors down and they’re great, too! Get both ends of your body taken care of in one trip! 2nd review: on time, great care and no rushing you through. Jamie the dental assistant is a beautiful and caring soul. My first time with Dr. Patrick and she was wonderful, too.

I am so pleased I found Dr. Scimone and the Hills Dental group. I’m impressed with the professionalism, genuine caring attitude and friendliness of the entire staff. I especially like dealing with professional women! I appreciate the text reminders I get for my next appointment and the fact that when I arrive I am in a room with a tech within five minutes. I recommend Hills Dental to everyone.

As always it was easy to make an appointment. I was taken in a little early, had a great time talking to the always upbeat staff, had my denture adjusted and was out in a flash. I love this place and the staff!!

The entire team is friendly, helpful & detail oriented to answer questions completely. I really enjoy their caring nature, comfortable atmosphere & providing quality service while being generally affordable. They are very considerate of my perspective & priorities as I’ve been unfortunate when it comes to my teeth, both genetics & injuries. I feel like they’re dedicated to giving me the best & healthiest experience possible.

The appearance of the office is very clean and welcoming. The staff at the front desk is helpful and nice. I was impressed with the dentist Dr Erin Scimone. She was both professional and informative. My appointment was an initial examination with x-rays and cleaning. The hygienist was apparently in a rush. I have had many hygienist in my lifetime but never as rough as she was, maybe because of information that I was supposed to complete online wasn't done. I had to try and do this in the office, the questions were very confusing and unclear. I did offer my information that I keep stored in my phone and she didn't want it, in fact she said to put it away and expected me to remember everything and answer her questions. I am on many medications mainly the generic for different diagnosis, and because of being on a lot of medications I get confused easily. I did offer my phone again for the name of meds, dr's names and why I take them. I have dental work that should be done and right now I am reluctant to go back.
