Renee was an amazing receptionist, she managed to get me in as quick as she could with nothing but joy in her tone and kindness in her heart! Don’t let anyone fool you, Dr. Smith was the most easy going doctor I’ve ever had the honor of seeing, this man made me feel like I was his friend within the first 5 seconds of meeting him! Dudes a cool cat! I also really Appriciate their hygienist Taylor, she knew was she was doing the whole way with actions and words and had a really good sense of music! Thank you so much to all of you for taking my bar off after 4 dentists wouldn’t, I feel like a new man! As Joe Dirt said “Life is a garden brother, Dig It!” And you midtown have a beautiful garden of employees working there! I’ll be back!!!!

Too bad my first review of this place has to be followed by this one. I would give Midtown Dental zero stars if I could to offset the five star previous review. I have never been treated so horribly by front desk staff and even put off a review. Six months later, I was treated the same way. Get new front desk and phone staff! There is no excuse for people to be treated like this and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from any business that continues to employ people that don't care about their livelihood or the ones that they work for or with. Never coming back myself and that's too bad. Especially since it is not due to the care received at all...

After heartbreaking news from riverstone I was gunna have to get a cap on my front tooth these amazing folks managed to put a functioning filling on successfully. All the staff is beyond kind and definitely makes you feel comfortable and at home ! Also I love how clean and quite the lobby is ! Minimalist vibes . Thank y’all so much!! I’m gunna go home and cry happy tears and see you in six months cause this is my new go too 100% recommend!!

Since my last review. I was able to get my boys rescheduled for school exam before their start date which was great. There Saturday hours is a real plus for a mom who works Monday thru Friday. Considering my boys are only 5 and 3 I was worried how they would do. However the gal who assisted my boys along with the dentist were fantastic and what I thought was going to be a tough visit they were amazing with them Very patient and great with kiddos. So if your looking for a great experience and want to get your kids looked at this is the place to go... Amazing service all around. This will be my family dentist for years to come. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Taylor was my hygienist for today’s visit and she was very nice and considerate of my comfort level during my cleaning today. The staff here has always been really great.

Every member of their staff is amazing 🤩 I suffer with dental anxiety and they made me feel so comfortable, thank you for a great experience.

Fantastic all around experience. I've needed to go to the dentist for more than awhile and when I finally made the call I'm so glad I was able to get in here. The staff was all so friendly and helpful and the dentist was very thorough and kind. I'm so happy to have a regular dentist to go to now!

Dr. Sterzer is so kind and understanding. He's easy to relate to and very professional. They hygienists are easy to talk to and do a great job with the cleanings

I very rarely make bad reviews. Maybe twice ever. But this was probably the most frustrating and unprofessional situation I've ever been in.

I had a 10:30am appointment to have fillings done today. I had missed my previous appointment and called to reschedule the appointment for today.
The woman at the desk was incredibly condescending and rude. She began by telling me my appointment was canceled. She said "you said stop so we canceled your appointment" I told her I had no idea what she was talking about and she insisted I had replied to their text messages. I explained that I had never received any text messages from them. It turns out my phone number was one digit off. Whomever took my phone number over the phone when I called messed it up. No big deal, she said they could still get me in. She proceeds to look up my insurance. She says she can only find my insurance under my maiden name which I haven't had since 2018 and that it is inactive. I told her it should be under my married name. She can't find it and proceeds to talk down to me like I'm a liar. I assure her I have insurance and if they can put me down as self pay for now I can bring proof of insurance later. I just wanted to get this appointment done. She agrees. Great.
I finally get taken back and I'm told I was only scheduled for a "limited exam" and the hygienist asks me what my concerns were. I told her I had fillings to be done and that's what I had scheduled the apt for. She then tells me she doesn't see a treatment plan and that there's no fillings I need. I begin to get frustrated at this point. She then asks me if I had been in since 2018. I am what name she's looking at, and it's my maiden name. I tell her to look up my married name and she finds my treatment plan. Next thing i know the lovely woman from the front desk is there because the hygienist is seeing an alert on her screen. The front desk goblin tells me that I was sent a dismissal letter in the mail and that they wouldn't treat me. I asked how that could be when I never received a letter in the mail. She insisted I had received it. Upon checking the address, it was an old address. She explained that's why they need updated information. I reminded her that the phone number was not my fault, and that I had been in a couple months prior and I had updated my address then so that also isn't my fault. Additionally I didn't see how I could be dismissed. She stated I missed several appointments when I haven't. She says she will tell the doctor they will see me "but only if you promise to show up to your next appointment" speaking slowly and clearly like you would to a child. At that point I was so frustrated that I told them I was just going to leave. I've been going here for years. Before they were even called midtown dental. I've loved this dental office. But after today I will never go back. I was treated like trash from the moment I walked in. So if anyone has any recommendations for a dental office I would greatly appreciate it.

I dont normally do reviews however. So had a appt for my two boys for dental checkups before school starts since early headstart has a form for each child who attends. There appt which I scheduled a month ago for August 8th at 8am. I have been here since 740am and it's now 8:30am with no opening in sight. Just wondering why no one is here to open for there normal buisness hours. Now wondering can I get another appt before school starts..
