Got a bill for $15 even though my insurance company covers preventative 100%. Spoke with my insurance company to confirm that I should NOT have received any invoice/charge for my visit, which was a cleaning and exam.

Topics to probably avoid chairside (dentist and assistant)...your family's "drama"/divorces, debt, and/or how much others think you make, etc...not fun to be a captive audience member to that...
