True Dentistry

Gina the hygienist is not very pleasant. She is sometimes rude, impatient, awkward, and blunt. She has made hurtful comments about my teeth. I will never go back to her. However, the front staff are great and the doctors are great.
Update: I updated my star rating from a 2 to 4 because the office reached out to me after this review and offered a sincere apology for my experience and addressed the issue.

I have been going here for over 7 years and I absolutely love this place. I went out of state for college and traveled back here for my scheduled appointments. Gina is THE BEST. Wouldn’t go to another dentistry! High quality all around.

I am throughly impressed by the high level of quality customer service and dental care that me and and my family receive from True Dentistry at every visit.

UPDATE: Today I got fillings and a temporary crown. Dr. Brown and Angel performed the procedures and did a great job! Actual working time where they were working on my teeth for all three things was only an hour and 10 minutes! Angel was very considerate and made sure I was comfortable. She also did a great job selecting the right color for my crown. Both she and Dr. Brown were so efficient, friendly and made sure I had all my questions answered. I feel numb on the side of my face they worked on because they used a local anesthetic- I barely felt the shot to begin with and the whole thing didn’t hurt at all. I felt some pushing and they were great about not pulling my jaw off my face to get to my teeth. If you’re scared of the dentist and don’t know where to go, THIS is the place. So glad i found Dr. Brown and this place!

I’ve been avoiding getting my teeth cleaned for almost a decade because I am afraid of the dentist. I finally decided I needed to overcome my fear because I was having tooth sensitivity. I tried a place that was good but the doctor I had retired so I needed a new place. Everyone was very supportive and helped me get appointments quickly (they’re really good at helping you get in when there are cancellations- I even heard Elle, the receptionist making courtesy calls for this while I was in the waiting room!). They even researched my insurance before I got to the appointment so they could help me determine any payment necessary up front. My dental cleaning was not scary - the dental hygienist (Rochelle) was very gentle and efficient and funny so I wasn’t scared. The hygienist also had great recommendations for brushing the area I was struggling with and told me about special lozenges I can use to help with dry mouth. She was helpful and knowledgeable. They took a full set of X-rays and pictures and Dr. Brown came in to see me with a complete idea of what was going on and a treatment plan - no waiting for him to look at X-rays. After my cleaning and assessment, my care coordinator gave me paperwork showing exactly what needed to be done on my teeth, how much my insurance covered and what I would pay out of pocket. I was surprised at how efficient and nice my care team was! Turns out I had some cavities and a lot of plaque/ calculus so the hygienist offered me a special protective coating to help until my appointment for a crown and some fillings. I got the coating and am coming back soon for my next appointment. So glad I found true dentistry!

I feel in good hands with the friendly and caring staff at True Dentistry. They manage their time well as there is virtually no waiting for an on-time appointment. The entire staff reflects Dr. Joe Willardsen’s business ethics and competency.

I have had a great experience with this dental practice. Always very accommodating, friendly, and amazingly thorough. Recently had one of best cleanings I had in years which frankly I haven’t experienced in so long, I actually thought dentists had just changed the way to clean teeth 😑 Staff is great and it’s a beautiful clean office. Would definitely recommend

Unfailingly always outstanding care. In my case Literally life changing dentistry. From a smile I always covered up because my teeth were so bad, to a radiant smile, with beautiful teeth! What a difference that makes in your life. It’s been over 12 years since Dr. Willardson did a major rebuild of my mouth, which solved not only cosmetic issues, but bite problems as well. I’ve Never had one problem in all these years. The staff here is exemplary, well trained and always very kind. I highly recommend Dr. Willardson and his team at True Dentistry, you’ll not regret this choice.

I've been coming to True Dentistry for years and have always left a 5-star review. I visited today and, as usual, the place appeared clean and the staff was professional and courteous with me.
On my way out, just before 3pm, I observed a gentleman in the waiting area having a very loud conversation on his phone (as if he was in his own home) while wearing no mask. There were about three other patients in the waiting area with him. It was disappointing to see that in the midst of the Omicron COVID variant being at its peak, and being in a facility that should pride itself in cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, the staff chose to ignore this man's behavior, the mask mandate, and the safety of the other patients thus allowing this man to behave in such an inconsiderate manner, possibly exposing the other patients to COVID.

These guys are truly awesome, been coming here for years for emergency visits and cleanings. The staff is super friendly. Dr. Joe is one of a kind and my hygienist Rachelle does an absolutely awesome job. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Everyone is very friendly and takes their time with you. I love how well they explain everything to you if you need work done Makes you feel like family and Dr Waltrip is amazing. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else and I’ve been to quite a few dentist before I found this great one. I want to thank them for being there for me
