Henniker Family Dentistry

My twin girls absolutely loved it here! They can be crazy at times and they were very kind and helpful. She gave me lots of good information and even held my daughter when she slipped and fell and was upset. My daughters normally are very shy and they both instantly gave her a hug as they saw her. They aren’t fans of brushing their teeth never mind having them looked at. She was very patient with both girls! Love this place and definitely plan on going back!

A little history for my review:
I found Henniker Family Dentistry completely by chance after another dental office I was scheduled at closed during the pandemic. I was in need of tons of dental work after neglecting to see a dentist other than in an emergency for over 15 years. I was ashamed of my smile and my teeth. I was embarrassed to even go into the office on my first visit, but the staff here was welcoming and non judgemental. Between the hygenist staff, the office staff and Dr. Wilson and his team I have never felt more unashamed or embarrassed. After the past year of visits, I can finally say that I am proud of my smile again.

Henniker Family Dentistry is a family of caring and compassionate people and I've recommended them time and time again to friends and family.

Positives: Very pleasant and helpful people. Topnotch.
Negatives: I went because a piece of tooth chipped off and I was hoping to have it fixed, which meant replacing the filling. I had to make another appt. to get that done, after paying $138; they didn't address it that day. And they were more focused on replacing two crowns because one is chipped, even though it causes me zero trouble. I had to repeatedly ask them to look for the chipped tooth until they finally spotted it. I understand dentists like many professionals focus on the ultimate care and preventing future problems, hence their fixation on the crowns (if I'm being generous; if I'm not, they were just looking to perform expensive work). But I need a more practical, budget-conscious option. If they had fixed the filling that day, I would have gone ahead. As it is, I'll wait because it doesn't hurt. Much like the crowns, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Been going here since I was a child. Never hated going to the dentist with this place! Even with living across the country, whenever I visit I make sure to book my appointment here! =)

Extremely professional and thorough. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. This was my first visit and it felt like a visit with friends! Not that there wasn't serious work done! I learned more about my teeth in that one visit than I have known my whole life! Highly recommend.

Had my first crown work this past week. I was a bit apprehensive about the process but it went very well!

I am absolutely amazed at the service, respect, kindness and professionalism I received as a first time patient. If this is any indication of how my care will be moving forward, it will actually make me look forward to my dental procedures for the first time in my life! Absolutely fabulous first impression! Five stars!

Have been going here for almost 2 decades, which means about 4 years since new dentists took over. Have met all 3 of the new dentists and like them. Love having the same dental hygienist for each appointment. Appointments are quick but thorough, they adapt to my needs (sunglasses to avoid migraines, no polishing since it's like fingers on a chalkboard). They catch problems early and deal quickly.

If you hate going to the dentist then you need to check out Henniker Family Dentistry! Everyone there has the same goal; to make your time there as pleasant as possible! If you have extremely sensitive teeth that hurt even when you have a simple cleaning they actually care! They will try everything to make it painless! My cleaning today felt the most comfortable in all of my 60 years of sitting in a dentist chair! From the friendly receptionists, office staff, hygienists, dental assistants and Dr. H. whom I see…They all care!

I'm new to the area and hadn't gotten around to finding a dentist when one of my crowns fell out a few weeks back! Henniker Family Dentistry got me in the next morning, and made it as good as new. So I made an appt for my 6 mo checkup, which I had this morning. Everyone I interacted with was great. Ashley, Jess, and Enxhi, were all competent and friendly, making the experience very pleasant. Dr. Hockberg took the time to explain each xray and answered all my questions. I will continue to come here even though it's out of network for me. Great care is the most important thing!

Update - Had an old filling redone this morning. Dr. H was great. He offered the 'greater' and 'lesser' numbing options. I chose the lesser, but he was prepared to switch to the other at any moment. He kept checking on me, but I was fine. Probably the best 'filling experience I've had over the years. And the numbness wore off more quickly afterwards. Stephanie was great too and very pleasant. This is the place to go for good dentistry.
