The Art of Smile

I do not trust this dentist. Prior to visiting this dentist, I was a regular patient at my previous dentist for 21 years. Not once did my previous dentist (who has seen my teeth dozens of times) ever comment on the necessity of fillings for the "anatomic anomalies" on my two bottom molars (i.e. something I was born with). Mind you, I don't have any pain. I find it strange that on the second visit I had with this dentist, that he commented on the need for fillings when my prior dentist (who has seen my teeth many more times) never commented on it once.

My family and I have been Dr. Segal's clients for more than 13 years.
The quality of his service is outstanding. He always does what is in the best interest of his patients.
His office and dental equipment are first class. His staff is friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend Dr. Segal's 'The Art of Smile' for all kinds of dental work.

Finding a good dentist is a rarity and finding the best, is as close to running into a unicorn. Dr. Zev Segal is what I deem to be a unicorn in dentistry.

I had a dental issue with nearly all of my teeth and urgently needed a dentist in the Morris County area (just moved here). I interviewed close to 10 of the most "highly rated" dentists, finding myself in consultations for over 60 min, with absurd diagnosis and no follow-ups. It was apparent that upon meeting Dr. Segal, he was (is) a master in is craft as he accurately diagnosed my dental issues w/in 30-45 min and created a treatment plan that made sense. Approx. three months later, my smile and dental health is the best it has ever been. My worries on dealing with a dentistry hack have been relieved and I pray he doesn't retire for a very long time!

Dr Segal is an exceptional dentist who really goes beyond his call of duty for his patient. Dr. Segal and staff are always professional and friendly. It's a pleasure going there and I have recommended them to all of my friends.

Having a very rich experience with a variety of dental problems including surgeries, extractions, root canals, crowns, etc., etc., I have to say that I never was that comfortable during and after the most invasive procedures as with Dr. Segal.
I do consider it an "art" and the highest level of professionalism to perform an open gum surgery with zero pain and zero following inflammation, or being able to show, use and smile with a new tooth (or teeth) the next day after the implant. Very impressive.
The staff is very friendly, I assume they are comfortable with their job, and they "transfer" this comfort to the patient.

What a great doctor and front desk. I had emergency and also needed a crown. Tooth extraction was so easy and not painful and crown really looks great. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend. Also, they are taking my PPO insurance, which was great. See u soon

I am not sure why there are so many 5 star ratings! I did not have an issue with my bite prior to visiting Dr. Segal. It was indicated that I needed extensive fillings in my mouth which were allowed to be performed. After the work, I went back several times indicating that there is now a problem with my bite, as if there was too much filling on one side of my mouth. On the fourth visit, the dentist told me that I had an issue with relaxing my mouth and there was nothing wrong with the work he performed. My emotions have not changed pre and post dental work, but my bite has! Be wary, any dentist that doesn't refuse patients without insurance must be getting paid somehow (perhaps with positive reviews).

I've gone to The Art of Smile twice over the past year for both cleanings and X Rays. They have a very clean and well maintained facility, up to date equipment, a panoscan X Ray machine, and most importantly, a very friendly and skilled staff. The young lady who cleaned my teeth took her time and was quite thorough and attentive. Dr. Zev was very honest and noticed how the way I tend to clench my teeth is causing a wear pattern that I should have corrected. I will be coming back to have this adjusted soon. I had been told this from other dentists in the past so Dr. Zev was very honest and accurate with what he noticed. I can't rave enough about the incredible and life changing experience I have had since becoming a patient of Dr. Segal's at "The Art of Smile". I began my journey with Dr. Segal in November of 2015, with a variety of dental problems including cavaties, root canals, implants, and finally crowns. Prior to, I had an overwhelming fear when it came to any type of dental work, and therefore neglected it for years. Not only did Dr. Segal alleviate my anxiety, he completely transformed my smile, working deligently and providing me with pain free, yet extensive dental work. Dr. Segal and his team were so patient, kind, and accomodating. Overall, my self estreem drastically increased as a result of Dr. Segal's maginificent work. I truly can't thank him and his team enough!

I went to Dr Zev Segal,to have a crown done, and it fit and felt great when completed, and also my cap on my front main tooth was uneven and stuck out more then the other, I don't know how he accomplished it, but he did, make them both exactly the same size. My two front teeth looks beautiful now! Dr. Zev Segal is a knowledgeable dentist that knows how to approach a job, my teeth greatly appreciate it, and I do too! I would definitely recommend anyone!
